完成句子属于主观性试题，考查语法知识和词汇知识等语言知识，主要考查学生的综合能力，这就要求同学们在复习备考中要做到：
1，积累足够量的英语语言基础知识；
2，系统的英语语法知识；
3，高考题型的专项训练。

完成句子的指导解答技巧与方法
一道完成句子题得题干是由三个部分组成①英语句子部分②汉语提示部分③英语单词提示部分。
可以按照以下步骤做题：
第一步：读全句，基本确定结构（包括词语搭配和句子关系）基调的确定是答题成功的关键。
第二步：要看清要求，根据汉语内容和指定的英语单词确定要写的内容是一个搭配或成语还是一个句子，确定基本形式（包括时态，语态）。
第三步：总览全句，确定语义逻辑的通畅性和相对语境下的最佳形式，即检查完成后的整个句子的逻辑结构与语境是不是一定吻合，单词有无拼写错误，留没留意英汉语言的差异，如与时间、小品词的运用以及语序符不符合英语的表达习惯。

完成句子主要错误有以下几种：
1，语法错误：包括一致问题、时态、语态问题，指代问题，助动词误用或乱用问题；
2，句法、词法错误，句法错误主要包括主谓宾的关系问题，词法问题主要包括词形误用、词性混用、词义乱用、搭配不当以及冠词问题等；
3、书写错误包括错词、别词、误写、缺笔、多画等。
因此建议答题时不要连笔，书写应工整、仔细、清楚、爽目，最后还应有一个核对过程，确保审题的严谨和思考的周密，能清楚无误的体现在答题卡上。
