10、并且对于学生准确的发音以及培养他们的语感有重要的作用。 4.Task 4 Work in group of 8 to deal with the key words,phrases and sentences. 教师把学生分为8人一组,学生通过合作探究找出大屏幕上出现的重点句子,并学习。 T:This time,it’s your own reading time,please read and find the sentences on the screen in groups,and after that we will come to the “Question Time”. t
11、he key words,phrases and sentences: (1)Einstein is most famous for his Theory of Relativity.爱因斯坦以他的相对论最为著名。 be famous for...因……而闻名。famous形容词,“有名的,著名的”。 (2) After he finished school,he went on to study physics in Switzerland. 他毕业之后,继续去瑞士学物理。 句子结构:本句是由after引导的时间状语从句。go on to do sth.继续做某事。 (3)He
12、 signed his last letter before he passed away.在他去世之前,他签署了他的最后一封信。 句子结构:本句是由before引导的时间状语从句。pass away意为“过世;去世”。 (4)The letter asked people to give up nuclear weapons.这封信要求人们放弃核武器。 give up放弃,后接名词或动名词作宾语。 (5)The important thing is not to stop questioning.最重要的事情是不要放弃提问。 句子结构:本句是to do不定式作表语。 (6) An
13、yone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. 永不犯错意味着永不创新。 句子结构:本句是一个含有定语从句的复合句。who has never made a mistake作anyone的定语。 给学生一段时间背诵这些句子和知识点。 设计意图:学生应是学习的主体,教师要努力调动学生学习的积极性和主动性,通过组内合作讨论,探究,找出对话中的重点短语和句子,把所学的知识转化为学习能力。 5.Task 5 Challenge your memory Do Exercise 3 on Page 21 by
