Types of TV programmes
1. Sandy is doing a quiz. Help her match the scenes below with the types of TV programmes. Write the correct name under each picture.

3. Sandy and her friends are talking about TV programmes. Listen to their conversation and answer the following questions:

直接将句子的中心词放在开头，而省去一些不重要的词，是新闻报道或节目导读的语言风格，目的是引起读者的兴趣和关注。
up-to-date adj. 最新的；现代的

2. The programme covers different sports, such as swimming, basketball and football.在英式英语中，sport用作不可数名词时，表示“体育运动”，作可数名词时，表示“某项体育运动”。
