Teaching points:
1. 能听懂有关环保话题的对话,并从听力材料中获取需要的信息。
2. 能用所得信息将语篇补充完整。
3. 能就环保话题进行交流。
Teaching steps:
Step one:导入。
1. 教师与学生交流:How can we live a green life? What can we do to protect the environment in our daily lives? 一方面复习原有知识,另一方面导入A部分的主题。鼓励学生畅所欲言。
2. 教师总结:Protecting
2、 the environment is very important . We can help protect the environment by doing some simple things , such as turning off the tap when brushing our teeth ,taking shorter showers , using both sides of the paper and recycling empty bottles,引出新内容: turn off the tap, empty.
Step two: 听力。
1. 让学生阅读A1部分的
3、表格,并注意表格的关键词Time, Place, Number of students, Number of questions., 并为听力做准备。
2. 告诉学生:The Class 1 ,Grade 8 students want to do a survey on their daily habits. 教师为学生播放录音并指导学生完成A1部分的表格。教师说: Let’s listen to the conversation and finish the table in Part A1.录音可以播放两遍,要求学生第一遍只听不动笔,听第二遍时再填表格。
3. 告诉学生:Daniel
4、 and Sandy are talking about the results of the survey.教师播放A2部分的录音,让学生完成练习。
4. 教师要求学生用完整的句子陈述A2部分的内容,集体核对答案,如:
⑴ Thirty-five students turn off the tap when they brush their teeth.
⑵ Twenty students take showers for less than ten minutes.
⑶ Forty students use both sides of the paper.
⑷ Fifteen s

⑸ Forty- one students turn off the lights when they leave a room .
⑹Nine students take their own bags to the supermarket.
5. 学生独立完成A3部分的练习,提醒学生根据A1,A2部分已有的信息填写。全班核对答案后集体朗读一遍,加深印象。
Step three:活动。
1. 学生四人一组进行调查,了解他人的日常环保习惯。教师说:Let’s do a survey. Work in groups of four and ask your group members about theirs daily habits. Then write a short passage about the results and report it to thr class.
2. 学生完成后,教师选择几个不同层次的学生进行展示。
