9、n of the language points: Activity 1. Who is the quickest? (Fill in the blanks with proper words) This is a competition between groups: show some sentences with missing words and asks students to say them out quickly. Activity 2. Who is the Memory King? (Say out the phrases quickly) This is
10、 a competition between groups: show the Chinese meanings of the phrases, and give them 45 seconds to memorize them,then have a competition to see which group does the best. Activity 3. Exercises on the paper (Using the phrases) 1. Choosing the best phrases to complete the sentences; 2. Paraphras
11、ing; 3. Translation using the phrase. Activity 4. Group work: Describe your favourite genius using word and expressions just learned. Show Ss six geniuses (such as Shakespeare, Charlie Chaplin) and then an introduction of Charlie Chaplin using words and expressions just learnt. (E.g.: Charlie
