Step 2 3a. Ask: Have you met strange Happenings in your neighborhood? Are you still nervous when you think of it? The writer’s small town often has strange things. Please read the following passage and guess why.
The students read the passage by themselves.
Discuss in groups if them meet some phrases or sentences they don’t understand.
Ask some students to try to translate the passage. If they can’t, help them translate.
