Step1 Revision
Ask the ss to say something about what they used to like to do or what they didn’t use to like to do.
S1:I used to like to play computer games,but now, I have little time to do it.
S2:I used to hate PE class because I used to be short and thin,now I’m tall and strong and I’m good at sports.
Step2 Reading
(1) T:There’re always some changes in our lives, and Rose Tang has some changes,too.
Read the passage and complete the chat.
Check the answers.
(2) T: There’re some changes in Rose’s life, what does she think of the changes?
S1 She doesn’t like the changes,she really misses the old days.
T:So what’s her biggest problem?
S2:Her biggest problem is that she’s too busy.

My biggest problem is that/ I'm too busy. When I was young, I used to have so much time, but/ these days/ I get up early/ and stay in school/ all day. Then/ I go right home /and eat dinner. Before I started high school, I used to spend a lot of time/ playing games/ with my friends, but/ I just don’t have the time/ anymore. In the evening, I used to watch TV/ or chat with my grandmother, but now/ I have to study. I love music, and my father used to take me to concerts. These days/ I hardly have time/ for concerts.
