课题：Unit 9:How was your weekend?
一、教材分析：
　 １、教材的地位及作用：
人教版七年级第二册第九单元第一节课，本单元围绕表述个人周末活动，对人物进行这个题材开展多种教学活动，学会用过去时来对个人的过去的活动进行描述。本节课是堂语法实践课，它通过v+ed（过去式）的结构，进一步加深对过去时的语法现象的理解和运用。同时进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的综合素质能力。
２、教学目标：Teaching Goals（知识目标、能力目标、情感目标、学习策略目标）
　 知识目标：(knowledge ability)
(１) 学习单词：to grasp the new words and phrases: did my homework, played soccer, cleaned my room, went to the beach, played tennis, went to the movies
（2）掌握语法句子结构：
S + V+ed + … ① v+ed, ② 以e结尾+ed, ③ 辅音+y结尾把y变i+ed, ④ 重读闭音节并且以单个辅音字母结尾，要双写该辅音字母，然后再加上ed ,⑤ 其它特殊动词变法,
语言目标：（Target language）
( 1 )to learn to talk about what you did last weekend how your was.
(２) to learn to talk about some activities in the past tense.
(３) –-What did you do last weekend?
--On Saturday morning I cleaned my room./On Saturday evening I went to the movies.

能力目标：(Ability goals)提高学生听、说、读、写及知识自学的综合能力。
　 情感目标：(Emotion goals)
①通过形象、生动的教学使学生掌握如何去描绘一个人的周末活动，并从中学会在欣赏别人中，享受与不同的人交往的乐趣。
②培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣，乐于参加各种活动的积极情感。
学习策略目标：(Learning strategy ability goals)
①善于抓住用英语交际的机会。
②积极参于，善于合作。
　 　确立教学目标的依据：
　 　根据英语课程标准规定，通过听、说、读、写的训练，使学生获得英语基础知识和为交际初步运用英语的能力，激发学生的学习兴趣，为进一步学习打好初步的基础。此外，根据我国国情和外语教学大纲的要求，现阶段外语教学的素质教育主要包括思想素质教育、目的语素质教育、潜在外语能力的培养、非智力因素的培养等四方面。

教学设计理念：通过本单元的教学活动，使学生关注北京，关注2008年奥运会，争做志愿者，积极培养学生的情感态度和价值观。根据学生过去旅游的经验，将来的愿望和理想的工作以及准备的实践活动，来设计任务型创新教学课堂模式，进而完成本单元教学任务。

单元概述：
Visiting relatives— at the travel agency
本单元的焦点是学生对过去事情的描绘，使他们关注北京2008年奥运会 ，积极争做志愿者导游，为中外游客提供热情周到的服务，展现中华学子的风采和北京的城市精神。
框架问题 ：
How to travel and pay attention to the questions about visiting ?
基本问题:
假设你是一位北京2008年奥运会志愿者,以怎样的精神风貌迎接中外游客，来展现北京的城市精神呢？
单元问题 :

二、教学步骤及方法：
1. 创设情景 导出课题：put forward the new subject （3分）

2. 讲解语法：to give a lecture about the past tense （4分）

(be 有人称的变化was were)

Beijing, the capital of China, is the political, economic and cultural center of the nation. It is in North China. It is both ancient and modern. Beijing has a population of more than 12 million. It is one of the most popular tourist cities in the world. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists from home and abroad come to Beijing. There are plenty of places of historical interest in this city. They enjoy visiting its grand palaces, beautiful gardens and climbing the Great Wall. Tourists are also interested in “old Beijing” by exploring Beijing’s hutong and enjoying the Peking Opera.
Tiananmen Square, the city center, is the symbol of both Beijing and China. The Great Wall is one of the eight wonders of the world.
The Forbidden City is the largest imperial palace in the world and the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and worked there.
The Temple of Heaven is another famous place to visit. The emperors would worship Heaven to thank Heaven and hope everything would be good in the future. In the Summer Palace you can see the beautiful Kunming Lake and a long corridor links old buildings and gardens together.
The Ming Tombs are the tombs of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty and they are famous for the underground palaces.
In 2008 when Beijing hosts the Olympic Games, she will show the world something so special.
