假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误，每句中最多有两处。每处错误仅涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），并在其下面写出该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用斜线（＼）划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

My mom and I were out driving when we saw a car ahead of us slow down sudden and then came to stop as it reached the side of the road. We pulled over and asking the woman inside the car if she needed any helps. She said “Yes, please!” Since we were right next by a parking lot, we tried to push her car into it. We weren’t very successful, as it is a heavy car. Then a man and his kids came over and offered his help as well as! Together we got the woman’s car into the parking lot, which she was safe and could get the help she needed. We both smiled at each other and then went on our way.

One morning when I took the bus to meet a friend in town. When I boarded, a young foreigner rushed catch the bus and just made it right behind me. I pay my fare, and started looking for the seat, when I heard the young man ask the bus driver whether he could change a 50-yuan bill for his ticket. I already knew it was possible, as it was writing on the fare box. Being told the driver didn’t have enough changes, the young man seemed very disappointing. I told him I was going to pay his fare. He was relieved and thanked me. Dig in his pocket, he found one euro and insisted on giving it to myself. We both made it into town.

I was in the supermarket queue yesterday when the member of staff came to me and directed me to a checkout where had just opened. When I arrived, the cashier was allowing a little girl to scan through the shopping. My first thoughts were that I’d have got served much quick if I’d just stayed where I was. Eventual it was of my turn. The cashier was sweet and apologized for the delay. We chatted as she packed up my items. Then she explained me that the little girl, a customer from a few days ago, had lost her purse. She, like a cashier, paid for his shopping. And the girl just came to return the money but volunteered to help.

There was one class that I think I will never forget. It was the piano class. In the last class of that term, each student was required play two tunes on the piano, according to that the teacher, a pretty lady, was going to give us marks. Soon it was my turn. In spite of all the prepare I had done, I was still very nervous. I say at the beginning, “Although as a new learner I don’t play well, but I want to express my love to my parents through the two tunes.” Lucky, everything went all right. But the teacher commented, “Actually, Julie, you did great! Therefore, I will just give you 9.5, hopes that you will always remember to believe in yourself.” His words are still reminding me to be self-confident.

Time and tide wait no man. This is everything I learned last year. I have spent so much time fool around that my grades began to suffer. I finally realized that something had to be done. It was time to changing. Now I have a new plan for using my time wise. I have set my alarm clock half a hour ahead. This will give me a head start every day. I have also been decided to keep a record of what I do and when I do it. Look back on which I’ve done will give me some ideas on how to manage my time.

I love English and I do hope that someday I can watch English movies without any difficult. However, it’s never easier to learn about a foreign language. And English is exception. Recently I find it very difficult to remember new words. Therefore, I turned to my teacher for help yesterday She said the best way to learn new words are to read and use it as often as possible. I think she was right, because we can surely remember a person if seeing every day. Therefore, I had decided to read at least one English article and write a diary with English every day from now on. Hopefully, I will make great progress by the end of a year.

Last Sunday, I went shopping with Mom in the town. I was kind of excited because it have been years the last time I went shopping with her. I followed Mom into a small store sells farm chemicals and seeds. As soon as I stepped into the store, I was surprising by so much singing birds flying freely. Then I noticed there had at least 30 nests in total on the walls and under the ceiling! I turned to the owner, an old man, and told him what amazing it was. It had been raining for three days before I called my parents last week to ensuring that they were OK. I was worrying by the violent storms because our home is located at foot of a mountain. And I still remembered how our house was flooded terrible when I was little. My parents had to get water out of our house with washbasins, with my sister and I staying safely on the bed and watched. Luckily, my parents said something bad had happened during the storms. Therefore, one day later, I was told by my elder sister that the walls around our yard had fallen down two days ago. Then I realized my parents just didn’t want to worry about me because they didn’t want to distract me from my studies.

Last month, I read The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which is a novel publishing in 2012. Harold had retired before receiving a letter from a colleague of twenty years before, Queenie Hennessy. Deep in thought, he didn’t post it and couldn’t stop walk. He then phoned the hospital from a call box and left a message. He had decided to walk from her, saying that she should wait for him and stay alive. After going through various difficulties, Harold finally made it up. And unexpectedly, his own life was changed for good through an unlikely journey. How touched the story is!

When I was visiting Qingdao with my parents two weeks before, I knew I couldn’t leave them without learning to surf. I booked the group surf lesson. We started off with a warm-up. Then we lay down on our surfboards on the sand and practiced jump up to the standing position. After some practice, we went out into the sea and tried it out on the water. I have to admit it that surfing is much hard than it looks! I had a couple failed attempts to stand up but then one of the instructor came to help me and held my board steady. Finally I started to get the hang of it and managed to stand up on the board on myself. It was awesome and I can’t wait to trying it again!

My favorite India movie is Three Idiots. Actually I didn’t think I will like it when I saw the title of it for the first time. I thought it would be just a funny movie designed to make people to laugh. But after watching it, I realized I was total wrong. The movie is not only funny but also educational and inspired. It is about a life-changing story of a man which makes significant contributions at friends and others. With wonderful characters and lots of moments that made me laugh, and a few that brought me to tear, the film is well worth your time. My advice is to sit back and watch, and you give it the chance, I am sure you’ll love it.

My elder sister is a born of teacher. When I was a little girl, he, six years old than me, taught me to clean the house, ride a bicycle and sing, etc. Now, she is teaching English in the middle school. Though very experienced as a young teacher, she has always been doing great and her students just love her! I am very pride of her! I always think she can do anything perfectly if she wants to, because she is always very patient and carefully. What’s more, she always take care of me even though I have grown up and she is busy be a teacher and a mother. I feel lucky to having her as my sister.

My aunt managed to go to college when her daughter was 2. She was told by her husband “You can’t do it”. So he gave up. Now her daughter was 5 and she went to a college to do her assessment testing in last week. The whole way there she kept hearing her husband’s word in her head which discouraged her. She got to the parking lot but found out they only took cash for the parking permit, which she didn’t have. She was about give up while an old lady walked over and started talking to her. My aunt told her she was just about to go home. The old lady told her not to do that and she paid a $2. A complete strange saved her from giving in again.

Recently I have been finding difficult to write in English, and even though I read lots of English articles every day. I am so confusing. This morning I talked to a friend of me about this problem. Her advice was simpler: write more. She said for over six month she had been writing English diaries every day and gradual she found it quite easy! Actually, it gave her great pleasant! She showed me some of her articles, all of which was surprisingly brilliant! I am full of admiration for her! Anyway, I am going to try using this method. I am determined to sticking to my new plan and make some progress.

I still remember my first trip to Hainan with my parents years ago. We swam in Yalong Bay, which there were lots of people enjoying ourselves.
