My name is peter. I am six years old. I am from Taiwan. Many people ask me about my Chinese name because they think the meaning of it is very interesting. But I hope my friends can remember my English name rather than my Chinese one. My hobby is playing basketball. I usually play it with my friends after school, and I believe playing basketball will bring me good health. I am a talkative person. It is very difficult for me to keep quiet Now I am studying in English, so I hope everyone can speak English to me. Otherwise I will feel very bad if I keep quiet.

When Wang was a boy,he was very interested in baseball.So he joined the school team as a pitcher.At the beginning,his parents didn't want him to play baseball,but he liked baseball so much that he didn't want to give it up.He kept practising his pitching,and gradually got better.

Wang is now a starting pitcher for the U.S. Major League Baseball Team--NewYork Yankees.He shows no fear whenever he pitches.He is always calm.He has become a sports hero around the world.He is my favourite hero too.

Including me,there are four people in my family:my dad, mom,and my older sister .My family is a small family,and we also have a puppy.It's name is baby.

In my family, I love my puppy best. because daddy and mom do not have time to play with me ,and my older sister has to go to school,so I always talk to baby while they are out.

I love my family very much,so I hope daddy and mom will not be so busy and they will have more time to stay at home.I think baby also wants them to stay at home longer.

All of the boys in my class are outgoing.

I like my school life very much, because I can do lots of thing with my classmates.

I like to go to school. There are many activities I can do at school with my classmates. We can play sports or music or act in a play. Sometimes we have to write a team project or geography or science class. If our project takes the prize of a competition in school, we will win prizes like dictionaries or computer games. All of the boys in my class are outgoing. My classmates and I like to watch sports games and enjoy outdoor activities. We like to play basketball and skate with our friends. I like my school life very much, because I can do lots of thing with my classmates. I get to spend time with them. They are not only my classmates but also my best friends.

Chapter 6

Great people

The people in Ciji are ordinary people, but they have done a great job. Ciji started as a group of 30 housewives, who saved a small amount of money each day and has grown to have more than 4.5 million members worldwide. Many people know that Ciji is an organization that focuses on community service and outreach, eapecially in the areas of medicine, education, and disaster relief. It conducts its mission via an international network of volunteers. It has many sub-organizations around the world. They help to build many hospitals and schools worldwide, from kindergardens to universities and medical schools. I hope someday I can be a member of Ciji too.

Chapter 7
A bad day

I felt very bad early today because everything went wrong.

Then in the classroom I found that I brought a wrong test book and no pen.

Finally when I got home everything became much better.

I felt very bad early today because everything went wrong.In the morning my alarm clock didn't work and I didn't went school on time.In the kichen my mum was angry and hooling at me.She thought I went to bed too late last night.On the way to school it started to rain and I forgot to bring my umbrella.What bad luck!

Then in the classroom I found that I brought a wrong test book and no pen.When I was eating my lunch I found the rice taste sour and there was a worm in my apple.In the afternoon my stomach felt strange.It must be the sour rice.How could this be!

Finally when I got home everything became much better.My stomach was fine and my mother prepared a delicious dinner for me.After dinner I had a nice hot bath.Right now I felt great.I hope everything can be fine tomorrow.

Chapter 8

I had an argument with my good friend.

I had a big argument with my good friend yesterday because of the baseball teams.

Then he still didn't talk to me during the next break time.

In the end,while I was watching TV the phone ring.

I had a big argument with my good friend yesterday because of the baseball teams.During the break time,we argument about which team is the best in the league big.I thought it is yangqi and he thought it is redsocks.After the argument,he went of to say goodbye to me and close the door loudly.I was so angry with him.

Then he still didn't talk to me during the next break time.He didn't even look at me.I started to feel sad because he is my best friend.When it was time to go home I asked him if he wanted to go with me as usual.He looked at me with a strange look and still turned away.But this time,he did say goodbye to me quietly.

In the end,while I was watching TV the phone ring.It was him and he said he was sorry about what he did,he felt childish.I said never mind we are still good friends.Now I feel much better I hope we won't argument any more.

Chapet 9
What a surprising birthday party!

Today is my birthday and I'm so excited about it.

When it was time to leave school I couldn't wait to go home.

And then,things changed completely.

Today is my birthday and I'm so excited about it.In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said,"Today is my birthday,don't forget it!"At school,I got many gifts and cards for my classmates and had a lot of fun.But I was still expecting the birthday party after school.

When it was time to leave school I couldn't wait to go home.When I open the door,there wasn't anybody in the house.There was only a note that said,"Coming home late tonight,mum and dad."I try to call them but there was no answer.I was so shocked,do they forget my birthday?How could this be!I was so sad that I couldn't eat anything.I just did my homework and waited for them.

And then,things changed completely.It was about time for dinner,my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house.When I got there I couldn't believed my eyes.Everybody was there:my parents,my relatives,my friends and even my classmates.There was so many gifts and a big cake.What a surprising birthday party!We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever.

Chapter 11 The happist moment

I remember last summer vacation I went to a beach to spend my holiday.

I remember one day I went to the beach with some other kids in the hotel.

On the day we will leaving we took a lot of picturs in the hotel and outside the hotel,too.

I remember last summer vacation I went to a beach to spend my holiday.It is a beach in the north TaiWan I stay there for a week with my family in a high class hotel near the beach.It happened that my father's friend was the manager of a hotel so we could have better rooms.Everything seen as expensive and big in the hotel room.The bathtub was big and could massage.The bed was big and comfortable.The window was big and I can see the beautiful beach through the glass.

I remember one day I went to the beach with some other kids in the hotel.We brought a lot of stuff such as:a beach ball,water guns,some snacks and drinks.We had a lot of fun on the beach.We played beach vollyball and some games.At about six o'clock,we sat on the beach,watching the sun set and chatting about nothing.The sun set was the most beautiful one I've ever seen.At that time,I really wanted the time to stopped for ever.

On the day we will leaving we took a lot of picturs in the hotel and outside the hotel,too.I also exchange my MSN count with some friends there and we're still good friends now.When I got in the car I went to goodbye to my friends then I looked at the beach.The trees near by the beach were bolw by the wind and looked like they were waving goodbye to me.What a wonderful ending for my vacation!I think this is the happist moment in my life.

Chapter 12--My wish

I have no other wish except to be an English teacher.

There is another reason why I want to be an English teacher.

Now I am the English teacher's aide in my class.

I have no other wish except to be an English teacher.This is the only dream I have because I think being an English teacher is very cool.I can speak to foreign people smoothly and read English books and caricature easily.I can see English movies and some albums without titles.

There is another reason why I want to be an English teacher.My first English teacher was Mr.Gao in my primary school.I never went to an English class before in primary school so I was not as good as my classmates.But he always encourage me and helps me a lot.He always smiled at me and said,"Don't worry.I believe you can be better."So every time when I am too lazy to study English I remember what he said to me and keep on studying.

Now I am the English teacher's aide in my class.I love English and I love to teach my classmates,too.I always encourage my classmates and say,"Don't worry.I believe you can be better."just like Mr.Gao always said to me.I think with this perfect model I will be an English teacher in the future. Wish me luck!

Chapter 13
Having fun at the zoo

I went to the Mu zha zoo with my friends last Sunday.

There were many sections in the zoo.

I was most inpriced by the nocturnal animal house.

I went to the Mu zha zoo with my friends last Sunday.It is on the road to Mu zha in taipei.It took us about forty minutes to get there by MRT.There was a big Mcdonald's near by the zoo.There was so many people that it took us some time to buy the tickets.Around the entrance there were many vendors they were selling toys and puppets.We took a look at these verdors and then went inside the zoo.

There were many sections in the zoo,like bird world,the animal area,the penquin house and the koala house.We just follow the crowd and wactched those cute animals.Some animals were cute and funny,such as the parrots:and some others were lazy,like hippos.It was the sunny day so we were take a rest under the tree when it was too hot.After we visited all the sections I like all of the animals in the zoo except for some crazy monkeys.

I was most inpriced by the nocturnal animal house.I usually enjoyed watching those animals because I thought they were cool and beautiful,like the owls.Another reason I like the nocturnal animal house is because it was cool in the house,but everything was a little smelling.We left the zoo in the evening and was still a lot of people outside the zoo.I hope I can come back soon because I think this is a really fun place.

Chapter 14 my bedroom
Today I'm going to show you around my bedroom.My bedroom is the bigest room in my house.

On the other side of my bedroom is a fish tank and there are many colourful fish in

it.

My favourite place in my bedroom is under the bed.

Today I'm going to show you around my bedroom.My bedroom is the bigest room in my house.I have a big bed and two comfortable and soft pillows.Between the pillows is a big blue octopus puppet which was my birthday present.Next to the bed is my desk and I put many models on it.Beside the desk is a bookshelf almost all my books are on this white bookshelf.

On the other side of my bedroom is a fish tank and there are many colourful fish in

it.Under the fish tank is a cabinet and my mum put all my own toys in the box and put them in the cabinet.Sometimes I still like to open the box and play with my own toys.In the back of the cabinet are some paper cards which are for my art class.

My favourite place in my bedroom is under the bed.What can be good under the bed?It is a little box in which I have collected many pictures of me.Sometimes when I look at those pictures I think:I was so cute.There is a secret about the box I had my diary at the bottom of my pictures.Don't tell anybody especially my parents,OK?

Chapter 15
A beautiful place

Last Saturday I went to Yang Min Shan Park with my friends.

In the park we could see some birds flying up in the sky.

I like to go to the mountains and I like to see nature,too.

Last Sunday I went to Yang Min Shan Park with my parents.It was a sunny day.There were trees and flowers all over the place.The trees were tall and pretty and the flowers smelled sweet.

In the park we could see some birds flying up in the sky.An old man was sitting on the bench reading a book and two cats were playing under the bench.Some boys were playing games and some people were taking walks.Others were just jogging around the place.In the afternoon we took a walk along the stream for two hours.Then the stream flowed to the woods.In the middle of the woods we could see a small pood with many fish in it.

I like to go to the mountains and I like to see nature,too.I really enjoy the nice day at this beautiful place.I hope I can go there again someday.

Chapter 16
I lost my favourite sneakers.

They are black and yellow and look like small tigers.

Those sneakers are one of my gifts from my eighth birthday.

I will try my best to find them.
