But from time immemorial, the idea is that women must stay at home, do housework, cook, clean and bring up the kids. Women’s position should be stay at home. Their mission in their whole life after they got married is taking care of their husband and kids. The old rules forced the women to be an understanding wife and loving mother. However, everyone has his or her own thoughts. It can’t be blamed that some women want to have their own career. Where is the women’s position on earth, at home or not?
Maybe there is no room for doubt that women should stay at home, but there is nothing to be said against it. We should forgive that they have their own pursuits. The answer to this problem involves many factors.
First, women also have ambitious. They are anxious to break up the old rules and create a new world of work for them. In their minds, they can work and earn money as well. They even could sacrifice more in order to succeed in their career. On the other hand, it can help men to share responsibility for some pressure which was from the work, family and the society. If the happy is shared, the happy will be doubled, if the sorrow is shared, the sorrow will be divided. If the couple both have income. They can live a better and easer life relatively speaking。
Second, as the scientific research proved that women can concentrate on many objects or things at one time. They have this kind of ability. Just as a woman cleaning the house, she could also take care of the baby and watch TV. She can do these three things very well and don't make a mistake. However, men can’t do that. This research proved that women can do it. They have their own career would not have a negative influence of the family. Maybe in the contrary, it may motivate the couple to fight for their family even harder. From this example, we should have faith in women that they can do well both in their work and family. It is only need the women to find balance between them.
Third, with the development of the science and technology, everyone is demanded to keep up with the times. We need to learn all the time. Just as the old saying goes”one is never too old to learn”. Life is a progress that keeps learning and enjoying. Today it is necessary for us to equip ourselves with knowledge and ability, no matter who you are. So it is unwise to keep women stay at home just be a full time housewife. They have the right to enjoy the world which develops day by day. We should always keep an eye on the outside world and keep on enriching your mind. It makes sense to live such a life.
Forth, can you imagine that there isn’t even one opposite sex to work with in one field? It must be terrible. How often we hear such words like there. “If men cooperated with women, the work will be much easier”. The God creates both men and women; it means that they need cooperation. They can’t be forced to separate with each other just by the reason of family unite.
Last, from men’s angle, have you ever considered that maybe men would want to stay at home? Has it ever dawned on you that the society exerts more pressure on men and they need to relax? Has it ever occurred to you that men love their family more than women, they are more anxious to be with their kids and make the meal for the family? We can’t deny that men also have their choices. We all think about men are the center of the family and they must take responsibilities for it and protect their wives and kids. We even didn’t give them a choice. Just as what we discussed now” Women’s position, at home or not”. It is unfair to everyone. We can’t use our own thoughts to decide what somebody should do. It isn’t a rule that men should work outside and earn money, while women should stay at home and attend the kids. Everyone has his or her own choice.
From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw that the most important thing is that the couple need to find the balance between their work and family. It doesn’t mean that men should do what and women should do what. Everyone has his or her own position. In a family, no matter who, the husband or the wife, work outside to earn money or stay at home, the main thing is the unite of the family. If only the family fights together, they can create a happy and loving atmosphere.
