1、国籍国人和语言的表达
学习时需注意以下几点：
（1） 表示国籍、国人与语言的名词，首字母要大写。
（2）英国可说成England或the United Kingdom (简称U.K.)。美国可说成America或the United States of America （简称为 U.S.A.）。
（3） English 是英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰等国家的第一语言。
（4） 表国人时，Chinese, Japanese其单、复数同形。Englishman 和Frenchman的复数形式分别为Englishmen和Frenchmen。American,Canadian和Aus
2、tralian的复数形式均是在其后加-s。
（5） Chinese和Japanese既可作名词，表示语言或国人，又可作形容词，表示国籍，作“……国的”解，而English作形容词时，意为“英国的”；作名词时，只作“英语”解，而不能表示“英国人”。试比较以下两组句子表达异同：
