1.1图表描述
As is vividly depicted/described in the first photo above, ……On the contrary, …….It reflects that sth is becoming more and more serious all over the world.
As is shown in the bar chart above, dramatic changes have taken place in……from…..to…..According to the bar chart on the left, sth declined from….per thousand in 1990 to less than…in 2000. In the same period, sth is on the rise. As is illustrated from the diagram on the right, it has increased from…to….
From these graphs, we can draw a conclusion that sth fluctuated in the past few years. In 2000, it reached the peak/high point. However, 3 years later, it dropped to its nadir/low point, reducing to….in 2008.

Undoubtedly, the photos/cartoons have subtly reflected the social phenomenon that……If we let this continue as it is, our environment will suffer a great destruction. By that time, people will have suffered from their own shortsighted behavior.

There are several/many reasons for this phenomenon, but in general they come down to 2/3 major ones.
There are some possible reasons, but, personally, I believe that 3 primary reasons can account for it/this change.
