Several months ago, “Meng Mu Tang”, a small private(私人的) school, was closed in Shanghai after it was officially decided to be illegal(违法的). Now a private “home school” called “Ri Ri Xin” in Beijing has caught people’s attention again. The non-profit(非营利的) school is sponsored(发起) by a small group of parents who want their children to receive better education.
The “home school”is in a ground-floor apartment in Beijing. Now there are six students and three teachers in it. Since the students are all under six, only pre-primary school lessons are taught at present. The children have lessons for three hours in the morning and two and a half hours in the afternoon.
