1. if引导的条件状语从句
1）基本结构：
if从句中的动词是一般现在时，主句的动词是一般将来时。
如果从句在前，则从句后需加逗号。
e.g.:
If he runs, he’ll get there in time．
如果他跑步去，就会及时赶到那里。
The cat will scratch you if you pull its tail．
如果你拉猫的尾巴，它会抓你。
这种类型的句子意味着if从句中的动作很可能发生。
注意：这里的含义是现在或将来，但if从句中的动词是一般现在时而不是一般将来时。
if + will／would只能用于表示某些特殊含义时。
2）从句中的变化
A. if + 一般现在时 + may/ might

表示可能性
e.g.:
If the fog gets thicker, the plane may/ might go to other airport．
如果雾再大的话，飞机就可能改在别的机场降落。
B. if + 一般现在时 + may（允许）/ can（允许或能力）
e.g.:
If it stops snowing, we can go out．
如果雪停了我们就可以出去了。
C. if + 一般现在时 + must/should
e.g.:
If you want to lose weight, you must/ should eat less bread．
如果你想减轻体重，你必须/ 应该少吃面包。
If you want to lose weight, you had better eat less bread．
如果你想减轻体重，最好少吃面包。
If you see Tom tomorrow, could you ask him to ring me？
如果你明天见到汤姆，你能让他给我打个电话吗？
D. if+一般现在时+一般现在时
表示自然规律等自然发生的结果
e.g.:
If you heat ice, it turns to water．
如果把冰加热，它就化成水。（也可以用will turn。）
If there is a shortage of any product, prices of that product go up．
如果某种产品短缺，那种产品的价格就上涨。（也可以用will go up）
2. It is + adjectives (surprising, great…) + to do/ that…
该句型中it 是形式主语，真正的主语是that 引导的主语从句，常译为“做……是令人惊奇的/ 很好的”，是主语从句中最常见的一种结构。
e.g.:
It is possible to fly a kite in a windy day.
It is not good that you leave without saying goodbye.

Write down a travel guide.
Introduce tourists about some interesting places in Shanghai.
You can also introduce places for shopping, eating and sightseeing.
You can use the following sentence patterns and places to help you.
