小朋友们，你们双休日的作业会及时完成吗？会不会到了星期一才想到没有完成呢？然后就假装生病不想去学校呢？也许有些小朋友在偷笑吧，因为这说的好像就是自己啊！
这里有位小朋友Mike他双休日和朋友们玩足球玩的很开心，以至于把作业给忘记了。为了避免老师的责骂，星期一早上Mike向妈妈撒谎生病不能去学校。那么后来的他到底有没有去上学呢？到底发生了什么样的故事呢？大家一起来看一下Mike和他妈妈之间的对话，看看你从中学习到了什么。

“Morning, Mum . What day is it today?” Mike asks.
“Monday , my dear. So hurry up！”
“Monday? Let me sleep for a while, Mum. Please, please…”
“Mike, you can’t. Be quick! You will be late for school.”
“Mum, I’ve got a headache. I think I can’t go to sc
3、hool. I’m sorry. ”Mike pretends to be ill.
“Really? ”Mike’s mother touches his head with hands, “There’s nothing wrong with you.”
“Mum, I’ve got a headache. That’s true.”
“I’m sorry to hear that, Mike. But I hear there’s a birthday party in your class. Today is Helen’s birthday. Would you like t

“Oh, yes, I’d like to. But…”
“What’s the matter, my son?” Mike’s mother asks with care.
“Mum ,I forget to do my homework. What should I do ?”
“That’s bad! My good boy, first you should finish your homework before school. Is it right?”
“Yes ,Mum.” Mike gets up quickly

Mike takes out his homework and does it. For a while ,he finishes his homework.
“OK. Now I can go to school and come to Helen’s birthday party.” Mike says happily.
“Hey ,Mike. Be quick, there’s no time for breakfast. Take some bread and milk with you . You can eat them on the way to school.”
“Thanks ,Mum. Goodbye!”
At last ,Mike gets to school in time. And he takes part in Helen’s birthday party happily.
