Ambition
The famous American writer Joseph Epstein once said:We decide what is important and what is trivial in life.We decide that what we refuse to do.As we decide and choose,forming our destiny is what ambition is about.In fact,there is a heated discussion recently on the issue of ambition.And different people hold different ideas.For my part,ambition is very in the formation of our destiny.In this aspect,I totally agree with him.
To star with,ambition can decide what on will become in the future,and thus can offer inspiration to human beings.I still vividly remember when I was very young,my parents asked me a question,that is,what I’d like to be in the future.My choice was a teacher and that is my ambition for then and ever.Since then,my ambition has helped me a lot and inspired me to study hard and read a lot.
Secondly,what is our ambition also weighs your future.If you want to be a useful person in the society,such as a teacher,a lawyer or a doctor,that’s good.But if you decide to controll all the people and imagine that you will be the ruler who dominates the whole world,that would be terrible.
Lastly but most importantly,a person should never become great If he or she never takes an action.In that casehe or she is no more than a day-dreamer.Therefore,the biggest confine to ambition is the capacity for substantial action of the person who bears that ambition,as well as his or her will power to realize it.Without actually “doing”things,we can neverbecome inslaved to an ambitious heart.
In conclusion,ambition is important in inspiring us to become a useful person in our society.In my opinion,being an university student in the 21st century,we should have our own ambition and then devote our knowledge and energy to our motherland.

Be neatness. Because it is easy for someone to associate an office in disorder with carelessness in work. People like to deal with others who appear to be orderly, careful and particular in managing themselves, their duties, and their working environment. When you have a business negotiation, your first impression is very important for your clients. They will arrvial the deal in a short time with your company. And more, the way you look—cleanliness, neatness, style of dress and so on, can make an immediate impression on others.

My understanding about recycling
China is a country with a huge population and comparatively insufficient natural resources. What’s worse, now, the phenomenon of wasting is very serious. Recently, the trend of environment’s partial improvement but overall worsening has not been effectively constrained. As a university student,I frequently think of the subject of how to efficiently use resources and how to protect our environment.for recycling.
For instance, citizens’ consciousness of environmental protection should be fostered from childhood. Bearing this thought in mind, we went to some elementary schools to publicize environmental protection knowledge.
To protect the precious forests, we could take our own tableware with us and reduce the dependence on single-use tableware; we’d better use charging batteries which are not only economical but also environmental protective; when shopping, we can use cloth bags instead of plastic bags. What’s more delightful, the pupils said they would like to share their feelings about these with their parents. Thus our activity got an impact of a greater scope.
He has set up an industrial waste processing company. Mr. Tan introduced to me his company’s business: first, they reclaim the useful components in chemical waste, and then make them harmless. The process achieves both environmental and economic benefit. Before that, I have heard of the saying that “Rubbish is a resource that has been misplaced.”
I took part in the social practice in Chenming paper industry. Paper production is an acknowledged pollution source. However, Chenming’s water-processing system is full of the wisdom of environmental engineers: after pretreatment, the useful materials in waste water are reclaimed; the rest is taken as the fertilizer of reeds; after bio-purification, the water quality reaches the standard, and the reeds, as raw materials of producing paper, also get harves.Our responsibility---controlling pollution sources, producing economic benefit, and becoming the entrepreneurs’ driving force to promote environmental protection.
To construct a resource-saving and environment-friendly society depends on the efforts of everyone. As common citizens, we should form the green consumption habit and life habit; as far as the government are concerned, they must adopt “a big stick policy,” strictly supervise the environment and enterprises’ environmental protection work; as for we environmental engineers, my individual hanker is to provide “carrots” to reduce enterprises’ cost of abating pollution, which make the environmental protection become a business not only valuable but also beneficial.

We all can be digital dreamers
With the rapid development and wide spread of information technology and Internet, the increasing informatization gives a big influence on the concept 、method、and mode of education. “Michael Saylor ,the 35-year-old CEO of the high-tech company MicroStrategy，had a idea that he wanted to create a nonprofit online Ivy League university’ ,which will allow everyone ,from cabbie in Bombay to housewife in L.A., to earn a top-notch degree for free(Jodie Morse, Mar,27,2000).There is no doubt that Michael Saylor is not the only one who came up this kind of idea.
Distance education originated in England，in the middle of the nineteenth century. This new type of education method quickly spreaded to Europe, America and the world,and became a great power of breaking through the traditional education.According to the research did by the OECD,the world organization of economic cooperation and development, from 1995 to 2004, the market size of the distance education worldwide is expanding at an annual rate of 45%. Since 2000, there are 20 million people around the world learn through the distance education(Jiang Minhong ,2009).
Like Sr.airman Aaron Fisher said” The ability to take my classes while on deployment ,and have my questions answered anywhere in the world,was a dream come ture.” (Nicholas Slabbert and Mirlea Saks ，2004)The convenient and the flexible are the most marked characteristics of the distance learning. ”Online learning seems a boon for people whose circumstances make it hard to attend classes.”（ Nicholas Slabbert and Mirlea Saks ，2004）You can ‘attend a lecture’ everywhere, anytime. You can study at home at 11:00 p.m., you can learn math when you sit under a tree in your backyard, and you can also watch the teaching video in a train. Distance education is more valued to individual character, and can make students become independent on their study. But many parents would not let their children taking these web-based courses, because “it dosen’t require as much commitment and discipline as conventional classroom courses.”（ Nicholas Slabbert and Mirlea Saks，2004） I think it is the problem can only be solved by learners and teachers themselves.
Distance education is for everyone. Students can take lectures for their final exam. Employers can learn Advertisement for their further promotion. For “the 83 million adults aged 25 to 54 who have no college degree” , the accredited online colleges and universities are really a boon. Distance education offers a wide range of online accredited degrees, including online MBA’s, teaching certification, and Associate’s Bechelor’s and Mster’s degrees in everything from a network management degree to onlinr criminal justice degree(Jiang Ninhong ,2009). What’s more, online education has made a great contribution to promote the life-long education, recurrent education and further education. The recurrent education refers to a kind of alternating education system, it tries to give each person another chance to continue their study or make them have other opportunities to get training after study interruption. (Ding Jinhong ,2002).
There is a big proportion of househoulds that have no land or almost no land in rural areas of developing countries. The rural paimary schools are scattered with inadequate facilities and unqualified teachers.In many rural areas, only 10% of the children can complete the primary education. Accordance to the UNESCO's forecast, although the enrollment rate is growing in developing countries, due to the population growth, there will have 103 million children aged 6 to 11 can not enrolled, and 222 million young Youth out of school by 2000. （Li Jiying ，1999） distance education gives a way."If you put a professor's best performance of his life online, you can make something even better than Harvard," says Saylor, an M.I.T. graduate. （Jodie Morse，2000）
With the further improvement of distance education, it will benefit more people. Everyone can become a digital dreamer In the near future.

Opportunities and Challenges
First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 2008 Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2008 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.

1. Travel
Travel is a very good means of broadening a person's perspective. It makes you come into contact with different cultures， meet people of different colors and go through peculiar rites and ceremonies. Traveling much， you will not only enrich your knowledge and experiences， but also be aware of the vastness of nature.
Travel may also relieve person of boredom and gloom. Travel brings you enjoyment and attraction. It gives you a pleasant experience， which will disperse your boredom and make you forget whatever annoys you. Travel broadens your mind and leaves you good memories. Later， you may go over these memories and enjoy your past experiences， thus keeping a fresh and sunny mind.
Travelers can choose different modes of transportation which have advantages and disadvantages. Airplanes are the fastest but also the most expensive. Buses and trains are less expensive， but they soon make you feel uncomfortable. Ships provide you with comfort unless you get seasick. Most people can afford traveling by bicycle， which， although slow， can strengthen your muscles and get you closer to nature.
Advantages of Travel
Travel is beneficial to us in at least three ways.
First, by traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.
Second, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and local flavours if we like. In this way, we can understand how differently other people live.
Third, travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deep love :for our motherland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. Travel does benefit us both mentally and physically.
With all these advantages of travel, it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than other things in China
