Step 1. Warming up
1)On duty : Say something about “summer or spring”
Step 2: Presentations:
1. New words and sentences:
Teacher: We have learnt the first season and the second season of the year, it’s spring and summer. Today we are going to learn the third and the fourth season. What are they? Let’s listen carefully and look attentively.
To read the new words and sentences
To practice the phrase
Listen to the tape and read after it one sentence by one.

给学生质疑的空间，让学生带着质疑的问题更加有针对性的听讲，同时提高了学生互帮互助的合作精神。

2.learn the season”autumn”:
Show them two pictures:(气温，日照图)
Autumn The weather is cooler and cooler.
The days are shorter and shorter.
Spring is the green season, then autumn is the gold season, Why?
Are the farmers busy? The farmers are busy harvesting.（Writing：be busy doing sth.）
They’re picking apples. (提示：现在进行时)
3. learn the season”winter”:
What is the fourth season of the year?
It’s also the last season of the year.
What about the weather in winter?
When it snows, everything is white.
Do you like snow?
4.Teacher: Well, We have learnt the four seasons in this unit , they’re spring, summer, autumn and winter. The four seasons make a year. And there’re twelve months in a year.
Step 3:Practice:
Give them a few minutes. Choose a season from autumn and winter，and then make a dialogue with the season.
Step 7：Homework
1) Listen to the tape for several times.
2)Write something about “My favorite season”.

进一步巩固有关形容词比较级的概念，使学生的知识更加系统化。

在这个环节中，学生能够充分的运用所学知识练习叙述，提高了学生灵活运用语言进行交流的能力。
