句中one of 后接可数名词复数，表示什么中的一个。

题一：
翻译：

The area provides food and cover for a lot of wildlife.
句中provide是“提供”的意思，常考短语有provide sth. for sb.结构，即“向某人提供某物”，也可用provide sb. with sth. 结构。这两者意思相同。
句中cover是“栖息地”的意思，cover作动词讲，是“遮盖；覆盖”的意思，常和介词with 连用；作名词讲，有“封面，盖子，封皮”的意思。

题二：
翻译：
他妈妈为他提供了足够的金钱。

她用双手捂住了脸。

Don’t judge a book by its cover.

We covered about 30 miles a day.

Many birds live in Zhalong all year round, while some go there only for a short stay.
句中all year round是“一年到头，终年；全年地”的意思。all day long是“整天，全天”的意思。
There are not many cranes left in the world, and 40 per cent of them live in Zhalong.
句中per cent是“百分之...”的意思，用来表示百分比。

题三：
翻译：
马来西亚全年都很热。

一整天都在等你。

我们班上百分之八十的男孩都喜欢足球。

我百分之四十的钱都用来旅游了。

We need more people to count and describe the birds.
句中count是“计算，数”的意思。
describe是“描述，形容”的意思。是一个及物动词。

翻译：

句中if “如果”，引导的是一个条件状语从句。此时if从句用一般现在时，主句用一般将来时。
if从句用一般现在时，主句用may/might/can.

如果雪停了，我们就可以出去。

动词不定式作目的状语
我们可以用不定式来表示某一动作或状态的目的。

为了使目的意义更加清楚或表示强调意义时，还可以在前面加 in order to 或 so as to.
由 in order to 引导的目的状语，既可以置于句尾，也可以置于句首，而由 so as to 引导的目的状语只能置于句尾，而不能置于句首。

动词不定式作宾语补足语

我们还可以用动词不定式来说明宾语的情况，此时to do在句中作宾语补足语。
动词不定式作宾语补足语有带to和不带to的两种形式。
常跟to的动词有：ask, tell, want, like等。
常不跟to的动词有：感官动词see, hear, feel, watch, look 和使役动词make, have, let.
动词help后面既可带to也可以不带to.
