（一）重点词语及表达：
1. tell sb. about sth. 告诉某人某事
Let me tell you something about my school life . 让我讲讲我的学校生活。
2. be glad to do高兴做某事
例：I’m glad to get your e-mail . 我很高兴收到你的电子邮件。
3. kind
（1）和蔼的；友爱的（形容词）

例：
be kind to = be sweet to 对……和蔼，亲切
My teachers are kind to us . 我们的老师对我们很和蔼。
（2）种类（名词）
例：
different kinds of animal（s）不同种类的动物
three kinds of book（s）三种书
What kind of man is he ? 他是怎样的人？
all kinds of 各种：all kinds of books 各种书
4. stay 停留；暂住；留等
 [ei]
例：
stay at home呆在家里 = stay in
stay in a hotel 住在旅馆
stay with friends 与朋友们暂住在一起
stay away 不在家，外出，离开
stay out 呆在户外，外出
stay up不睡觉
例：
He stayed up all night . 他通宵未睡。
5. take a walk = have a walk散散步
例：He often takes a walk after supper . 他经常晚饭后去散步。
6. play with 和……玩，玩……
例：
The cat is playing with a ball . 那只小猫正在玩球。
Tom is playing with his friends . 汤姆正在和他的朋友玩儿。
7. wishes 祝愿、好意
With best wishes（信末，结束语）祝好。
give（或send）one’s best wishes to sb. 向某人致意。

（二）时间表达法：
1. 1:00 one o’clock
2. 1:05 one five five past one
3. 1:10 one ten ten past one
4. 1:15 one fifteen a quarter past one
5. 1:20 one twenty twenty past one
6. 1:25 one twenty-five twenty-five past one
7. 1:30 one thirty half past one
8. 1:35 one thirty-five twenty-five to two
9. 1:40 one forty twenty to two
10. 1:45 one forty-five a quarter to two
11. 1:50 one fifty ten to two
12. 1:55 one fifty-five five to two

注：半点以前介词用past，半点以后介词用to。

1刻钟用a quarter past 45分钟用a quarter to 30分钟，半点用half past

（三）语法：
一般现在时单数第三人称肯定句及否定句：
1. 肯定句：主语+主词的单三形式+其他
例：He goes home at 7:00 .
2. 否定句：在主语后加doesn’t，动词恢复原形
例：He doesn’t go home at 7:00 .
3. 动词的单三形式：
（1）直接加s
例：speak—speaks swim—swims
（2）以o，s，ch，sh结尾加es
例：go—goes do—does wash—washes watch—watches enjoy—enjoys
（3）以y结尾
① y前是元音字母加s
例：play—plays say—says stay—stays enjoys—enjoys
② y前是辅音字母去y加ies
例：fly—flies study—studies
（4）特殊变化：have—has be—is
