Hello, everyone! I’m very glad to present my lesson plan here. I’m Hu Jian mei from Shu Yuan Primary School. The lesson plan I'm going to talk about Part A of Unit 4 My home PEP Primary School English Book 4A. Let’s take a look at these aspects.

VII The blackboard notes 板书设计
I. Analysis of teaching material and learners
Firstly, I’d like to analyze the teaching materials. This lesson includes two parts: Let’s talk and let’s play. In section 1, it mainly deals with the dialogue about “Where is she? Is she… ?” and the answers. And in section 2, it provides a real situation for the Ss to practice the pattern: Is she/he/it...? And the answer: Yes, she/ he/ it is. No, she/ he/ it isn’t .
Secondly, it is about the learners. Our students are in Grade 4 .They are active and curious, interested in new things. After learning English for one year, they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them providing them the chances of using language. They had learned some new words about room.
II.Teaching aims
1. Aims on the knowledge
To enable the Ss to understand and speak ”Is she...? Yes, she is. No, she isn’t. Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.
2. Aims on the abilities
(1) To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.
(2) To use the dialogue smoothly.
(3) To cultivate Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation.
3. Aims on the emotion
Educate students to love their own home, cherish the love of family
III. Key-points of this lesson
(1) To enable Ss to master words. To help Ss ask and answer the questions: Is she/he/it...? Yes, she/ he/ it is. No, she/ he/ it isn’t.
(2) To enable Ss to act in pairs and co-operate skillfully.
IV. Difficult points
To help the Ss ask and answer the question according to the pictures “Is she/he/it...? Yes, she/ he/ it is. No, she/ he/ it isn’t.” and make sure they can use the structure correctly.
V.Teaching methods.
In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method” and “TPR teaching method”.
The students is mainly reading and speaking, imitate practice.
VI. Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing.

Step 1. Greeting and Warming-up
It will cost about 4 minutes.
After greeting with the Ss, I will begin the lesson by singing the song “My home” together with the Ss.
Golden eyes: study, bathroom, living room, kitchen, bedroom.(板书词卡)
The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss, and, at the same time, review and consolidate the contents of the last lesson. it provides situations to review the learned knowledge for the next step.
Step 2. Presentation
It will cost about 8 minutes.
1. Learn the new word ：cute
Make a topic. I have a dog. Is he lovely? Yes, he is. He’s very cute. Write on the blackboard: I have a ... . He’s cute. (板书cute)
The Ss talk about their cute animal.
2. With the help of the PPT, I set a situation of the dog disappear.
to stimulate the Ss’ interest of the lesson.
By playing the PPT, I ask the questions, the students answer .
Use the sentences: Is he in the ... ? Yes he is. No, he isn’t. Learn these two sentences: Yes , he is. No, he isn’t.（板书 Is he ... ? Yes ，he is. No, he isn’t.）
3.Work in groups .Boys ask, girls answer.
The purpose of this is to present the new words and sentences in the situation, which relates to the Ss’ real life experiences, to help the Ss understand the language easily and naturally.
Step3. Let’s talk
It will cost 3minutes. Including watch the flash and answer the questions.（板书）
The purpose of listening is to help Ss to recognize and read the dialogue.
Step4. Practice
It will cost 10minutes, including listen and follow, let’s chant, act the dialogue.
The purpose of this is to develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.
To use the dialogue smoothly.
Step 5. Extension
In this step, I will give Ss a free space to show their abilities. About 10 minutes.
Task1 Save Mei yang yang
Task2 Save Lan yang yang
Task3 Find your schoolbag in your classroom.（板书Is it... ?句型）
Making a new dialogue is to check if Ss can use these sentences in real situations. Task-based teaching method and Communicative language teaching are used here.
Step 6. Summary

Review the words and structure. About 3 minutes.
The purpose is to sum up what we learn today and strength Ss’ memory.
Step 7 Homework
For homework assignment, I will ask the students to work in pairs to imitate the dialogue and then make up a new dialogue. Finally, draw their home and ideal room. Share with their partner. This homework assignment will help the students consolidate what they have learned in class, and help them cooperate with each other and learn from each other.
VII The blackboard notes
Finally, the blackboard notes. On the left are all the key words the students should use in this lesson. On the right, the useful sentences are presented, which can help students learn and use them in communicative classroom activities.
