教学设计

一、教材分析
“You can play football well”是《新标准英语》第五册第六模块第一单元。本模块要让学生了解和学习有关评价，肯定和鼓励的表达法，是对以前学过的关于能力的相关知识的拓展和延伸。本单元通过Lingling加入足球队一事，让学生学会简单的自我评价和肯定与鼓励他人，进一步学会表达“can…well”句型。另外，在本课学习并运用几个新的动词短语，pass the ball, catch the ball.
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级学生，经过两年多的英语学习，他们已经掌握了一定的语言基础知识，知道can、can’t、play basketball、play football、run fast、jump high等单词及短语的表达；具备了一定的听、说、读、写和语言运用能力，如能运用Can you …? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.来询问和表达能力；有兴趣继续听说和学习英语。因此，在教学中，教师应从学生的已有知识、能力和兴趣出发，充分运用各种教学手段，尽可能创设真实、有趣的语言情境，吸引和组织他们积极参与，使他们在参与、体验、合作与交流中，自然地习得语言，发展技能，从而提高实际语言运用能力。
三、教学目标
（一）知识目标
1、能听懂、会说并认读下列单词：well、team、really、good at、catch、goalkeeper、think、fantastic、fan.并会运用well、think、fan.
2、能听懂、会说并认读下列句子：Can you run fast? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t. You can play football well.
（二）能力目标
能运用“can…well”句型评价自己和他人。
（三）情感目标
1、 培养学生将学到的知识运用到真实生活中的能力，提高学生自我评价和欣赏别人的能力。
2、 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生与他人合作交流的能力。
四、教学要点分析
（一）教学重点
1、能认读词汇：well, team, really, good at, catch, goalkeeper, think, fantastic, fan.
2、 能运用“can…well”句型来评价自己和他人。
（二）教学难点
结合实际在真实的语境中运用“can…well”句型来评价自己和他人的表现。
五、教学准备
多媒体课件、教学光盘、单词卡片、足球、篮球等。
六、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in.
1、Listen and do.
2、Free talk.
(1)T(教师边做相应的动作边问): Can you run fast/ play basketball/ play football/jump high …? （课件出示动词短语， 如run fast, play basketball, swim, ride a bike, play table tennis, jump far, play football, jump high, play chess…）
S: Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.
T: Oh, you can …. / Oh, you can’t….
(2) Ask and answer in pairs.
3、（出示一个篮球）Look! What’s this? Can you play basketball? Today we will see :“Can a short boy play basketball? Can he play it well?”(播放课本第一部分动画）。Then listen and repeat, read in pairs, read it together.
Step 2 Task presentation.
1、T: Recently, I hear a news that Amy and Sam will ask our good friend Lingling to take part in the school football team. Do you want to know can Lingling play football well? (播放第一遍动画,整体感知。）
2、Listen again and answer these questions: (播放第二遍动画,进一步理解课文。)
Q1: Can Lingling run fast?
Q2: Can Lingling pass the ball?
Q3: Can Lingling jump high?
Q4: Can Lingling catch the ball well?
3、New words and sentences.
T: (出示一个足球）Look! What’s this? Do you like football? Who can catch my ball? 让学生做接球动作并教读catch—catch—catch the ball.继续做接球游戏，学生几次都能接住,教师说You can catch the ball well.接着做传球动作并教读pass—pass—pass the ball.继续做传球游戏，学生几次都能传好，教师说You can pass the ball well.
T:（课件展示火箭队的照片及姚明打篮球图片）What’s this? 然后出示单词卡回答：It’s a team, a basketball team.板书team.操练：team—team—a basketball team.接着问Who’s he? Yes, he is fantastic .同时伸出大拇指并做进一步解释:He’s very good.以帮助学生理解fantastic一词的意思，操练：fantastic— fantastic—he’s fantastic. Can he play basketball well? 引出句型 He can play basketball well. He is good at basketball. He can jump really high. He is my fan! 教读well 、good at 、fan 和really。
4、Listen and repeat.(播放第三遍动画,逐句跟读，注意模仿语音语调。)
5、Read the text in roles.
Step 3 Practice
1、Guess: who’s he? What can he do?(课件出示明星图片)
2、Listen and say.(播放课本活动3音，跟读，注意模仿语音语调。)
3、Ask and answer in pairs.
4、Play a game(组建球队）。
准备一个篮球和一个足球放在讲台上，准备一些纸条，把描述学生特长的一些句子写在上面，发给学生，请学生根据自己得到的字条描述自己擅长什么，然后站到自己的球队，看看哪个队先建立好。
Step 4、Task completion.
1、Talk about you and your classmates.
学生四人一组互相交流自己和同学擅长的运动,为学校将要举行的运动会挑选好人才。
2、Read and guess：What do I play?
a、I can run fast. I can catch the ball well. I can jump high.
What do I play? （basketball）
b、I can run fast. I can kick(踢) the ball well. I can control the ball very well. What do I play? （football）
Step 5、 Summary
集体看板书，教师引导学生小结本节课所学内容。
Step 6、homework.
1、Listen and repeat the text 3 times.（听音模仿课文三遍）
2、Write something about your family or your friends.课后去调查你的家人或朋友的各方面的特长，完成记录单。
