1、would rather … than …
1） would rather… than … 意为 “宁愿……而不愿……”表选择，后接动词时，须用原形。例如：
（1） I would rather stay at home than go out .

2 ）would rather … than … 也可以不与than 连用，当我们只是想说我们想去做什么的时候，就用 would rather ……. 例如：

1 ）prefer vt.或 Vi.意为“宁愿选择, 更喜欢”注意：prefer现在分词、过去时、过去分词的构成要双写字母r。即prefer----preferring----preferred----preferred.
2） prefer•… to… 意为“喜欢……而不喜欢”“喜欢……胜过……”“比起……更喜欢……”此句结构中，prefer 后接名词、代词或动名词。即:prefer doing to doing 或 prefer A to B 。例如：
（1）I prefer doing to talking .
（2） I preferred to biue .
