2 Textbook analysis
此课时的主题是音乐，是外研版新标准高中英语必修三Module 6 Music中的Introduction部分。本模块以“音乐”为话题，从学生辨别乐器和认识音乐入手，介绍了音乐、乐器的类型，帮助学生对音乐类型、音乐家或歌手进行初步地认识和简单地评论。
此课时共设计了三个活动: 一、通过学生看图，呈现与音乐有关的英文词汇。二、group work,将新知识与旧知识进行联系，画单词联想记忆图，以小组比赛形式完善。三、pair work,对音乐进行简单地评论并对话。同时为后面的阅读和写作做背景知识的准备。

本班共45名学生，男生24，女生21, 年龄多在15-16岁之间。学生对“音乐”这一话题较为熟悉，这为该节课活动的开展提供了有效条件。此外，本班大部分学生英语运用能力较好，应该能主动参与到课堂活动之中。
