Top Guangdong universities are hoping to use large scholarships(奖学金) to attract more good senior high school graduates, a newspaper reported Monday.
Students who list Zhongshan University as their first choice could win a prize of 10,000 yuan(US$1,200). The top 200 applicants(申请者) with National College Entrance Examinations(NCEE) score 800 points of comparative scores（标准分） in the province or 50 points of original scores（原始分） higher than their province’s enrolment(入学) score line will win the prize.
