一、 教学内容：
Unit 4 What can you do ? Part A Let’s Learn
二、教学内容分析：
本课时紧紧围绕PEP人教版五年级英语上册Unit 4 What can you do?   Part A Let’s learn 中关于做家务的五个动词短语展开教学，其内容与学生的日常生活密切相连，用动作表演的形式组织教学，进行语言交流，能让学生体会到做家务的乐趣，并从中感知语言，习得语言。
三、教学设计思路：
本课时根据学生的年龄特点，以“全部动作反应法”（Total Physical Response）为教学思路，通过让学生在做中学、在说中学、在玩中学的方式，充分调动学生的学习积极性，激发学生的学习兴趣；同时在教学中充分利用自制词卡，呈现出五个动词短语的手写体形式，让学生仿写，为培养学生的书写能力打下坚实基础。
四、 教学目标：
1、能够听、说、读、写动词词组：cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom；能够听、说、认读动词词组：empty the trash。
2、能够听懂会说句型：I’m helpful. I can… 并能进行实际运用。
3、培养学生热爱劳动的观念，增强学生生活自理能力。
五、教学重、难点：
1、重点：五个有关家务的动词词组。
2、难点：正确书写cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom，empty 的发音，以及运用句型 I’m helpful .I can......进行表述。
六、教学准备：
多媒体课件，点读机，动作卡片、单词卡、实物教具，粘贴。
七教学过程：
Step1. Warm-up
 (1)Greetings
T: Good morning ,boys and girls.
S: Good morning teacher .
(2)日常会话复习旧知识
出示幻灯片1，T：What can you see ? It’s sweet/sour…… S: I can see an /a /some apple/ water melon /peaches .
（设计意图：就水果提问，让学生复习I can 句型，为引入新课做铺垫。）
Step2. Presentation :
Let’s learn
1.sweep the floor
(1) 找一名学生模仿一个动作（扫地），让其他学生猜一猜他在做什么？由此引入词组sweep the floor .
(1)利用点读笔让学生模仿读，教师再领读，开火车读。
(2)让学生认真看老师写，然后在本上写一遍。
(3)出示本人幻灯片，T:What can I do ? I can ……(板书I can)
2.clean the bedroom
(1)出示幻灯片，T:What can I do ? I can……利用点读笔发音，让学生模仿读音。
（2） 男、女生分组读，比一比，看谁记得快。
（3） 让学生认真看老师写，然后在本上写一遍。
（4） T:Who can clean the bedroom ? S: I can clean the bedroom . T: You’re helpful.(引导学生说 I’m helpful ，做动作，并板书。)
3.cook the meals
(1)T:I’m hungry .Oh,I can ……(同时出示幻灯片)利用点读笔教授cook the meals .
(2)让学生在本上仿写一遍词组。
4.利用闪卡片游戏复习三个词组，达到巩固的效果。
5.water the flowers
(1)出示花的图片，T: What’s this ? S: It’s a flower . T: I can ……(同时利用点读笔发音，让学生模仿读音。)
(2)T:Who can water the flowers? S: I can water the flowers .
(3) 让学生在本上仿写一遍词组。
6.empty the trash
(1)T: We’re so tired,let’s have a rest ,there is a room. Oh , it’s dirty ,let’s…(利用点读笔发音，让学生模仿读音。)
(2) 让学生在本上仿写一遍词组。
(3)进行拍卡片游戏，巩固词组。（利用游戏降低词组难度，突破难点。）
7.用点读笔复习五个词组，为下面的活动做准备。
8.播放幻灯片，进行pair work 环节。利用幻灯片进行what can you do ? I can…..对话。（练习后台前展示。）
9.用单词卡片复习五个动词词组后，进行一锤定音游戏。
10.播放幻灯片，看图猜一猜。
11.刮鼻子游戏。
Step 3 conclusion :
让学生说一说在本节课中学会了什么？还会做哪些家务？
Step 4 homework:
1. 用 I can ……句型写出能够帮助父母所做的事情。
2. 完成调查表。
