教学内容分析：
本教材以学生为中心，强调自主学习，寓学于乐，通过听说、读写、游戏、吟唱、玩演等任务引领学习活动。
本节课选自湘鲁版六年级上册第二单元。通过三年的英语学习，同学已经积累了大量的地点名词。对本文的学习非常的有用。
课文情境是Andy is taking Harry around the city .And Andy’s friends help them.
学生情况分析：
本课的授课对象是六年级的学生。他们从三年级开始学英语，积累一定的基础。学生能过听从老师的课堂指令并积极根据指令做事。课堂教学中学生能参与教学活动，敢于提出并表达自己的想法和观点。
.教学方式与教学手段说明
本节课根据任务型语言教学的相关理论知识，设计互动、合作的教学课堂活动，为学生搭建语言活动发展的平台，使学生在语言活动中不仅获取知识，发展能力，更让学生体会到英语学习的乐趣，达到英语教育的目的，从而实现英语教育的意义。
本课时教学目标
1.能用学过的词语和句型谈论场所的大致方向和位置。
2.能听懂并会用It’s in the north of the city. 和here is a school between the …and …等句型描述位置。
3.通过让学生描述方位，增加其方向感，培养其生活能力。
教学重难点：

课前准备
录音机、磁带、教学和单词卡片。
教学活动：
一、 Warm-up
1. game 做“方向蹲的游戏。每次让四个学生到讲台上来。每个人选择一个方向作为自己的名字，比如叫一个east的学生边蹲边说：east蹲，east蹲，east蹲完west蹲。叫west的学生必须马上蹲下，并说west蹲west，蹲，west蹲完south蹲。以此类推。谁的动作慢或接不上来即被淘汰，有其他学生上来接着做游戏。
2. Lead-in
上个单元Andy的表兄Harry来看望他，他应该如何招待他呢？除了招待吃喝外，引导学生说出“外出游玩”。接着将话题转入本节课的内容：Now，Andy is taking Harry around the city .Where do they want to go ? Let’s look at the “Look, listen and act” on page 9.
二、Presentation
1. 让学生看Look, listen and act的教学内容，圈出以下单词。
