6、urpose: The aim is to lead in the subject of the class---biography. Step II. Reading(13’) Task 1.skimming-- --question-answering (3’) T: Teacher asks students to skim the text and answer three easy questions to get the structure of a biography. S: Students glance through the passage and then fi
7、nd out the answers to the questions. Purpose:Students get some main idea of some paragraph. Task 2. Scanning--- blanks filling (group work) (10’) T: Teacher asks the Students to read selectively about “A biography of Isaac Asimov” and complete the timeline of the events in his life. S: Students

17、分地体验语言学习和运用的过程。 教学内容: 本课的教学内容是人民教育出版社出版的《普通高中课程标准实验教科书》英语7(选修)Unit 2 Robots中的using language: A Biography of Isaac Asimov 该部分的阅读文章介绍了科幻小说作者——阿西莫夫。这篇人物传记使学生进一步了解了Reading部分作者的生平以及科幻小说、机器人等。阿西莫夫对机器人的看法深深地影响到以后的作家,甚至科学家对人工智能的研究。 学生情况: 本课的教学是在赤水一中实施的。该校高二年级学生的学情良莠不齐。但是通过义务教育阶段和高一阶段的英语学习,多数学生已具备了基本的用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题、解决问题及用英语进行写作的能力。 7
