As far as I am concerned, I value the health more. No one will agree that a wealthy person without good health can be happy. So, just do our best to keep fit.

3. About Doing Physical Exercise 关于体育锻炼
Physical exercise is very important to a happy life. There is a famous saying: "Life lies on exercise." Although you will not necessarily die without regular physical exercises, they' II certainly help you live longer and more healthily.
Exercise is good for us to build up our bodies and improve our health. It lets the heart beat faster than usual, and then helps enlarge the blood vessels to protect us from heart attacks. Exercise can also contribute to the development of our ability to response quickly. For example, playing table-tennis can make you respond faster.
In a word, exercise is helpful, important and necessary.

4. About Television 电视
Television has its good as well as bad sides. It makes us informed of daily news, lets us know the outside world, provides lessons for learners, and it has brought joy and interest into people’s lives.
Unfortunately, some television programs have been extremely harmful to the young. Violent movies are shown on TV programs. Children regard the murders as heroes or models, so they imitate. Therefore there happened many murders or shooting cases in American campuses. What a big harm.
So young people should learn to get ride of the bad influences of TV and learn to make use of the advantages that TV brings us.

Today more and more advertisements are seen on the TV screen. It's difficult to find a program without insertion of ads on TV. Food, clothes -- everything you can think of --are presented on television. Occasionally, we can also see some public welfare ads, appealing to people to respect the old or to protect the environment. In general, there are two main reasons leading to the prevalence of commercials on TV.
As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative. But there is no denying that some of them are tedious and not trustworthy. Therefore, I think it is really high time that the TV stations strengthened the control of advertisements and made them more attractive.

6. A Day to Remember 要记住的一天
On a hot summer day, my father and I went to the swimming pool. While my father was away, I slipped into the pool! The water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot. I tried very hard to keep my head above the water. I was so afraid that I shouted.
Just then, my father saw me and seemed to be shocked. He said, "Calm down, just move your arms and legs like that!" I did as he told me and finally learnt to swim!
From this experience I learnt that one's power is unlimited. And one has to stay calm when in danger. It is a day to remember.

At the sight of the words, I became very relaxed and confident. At last, I performed very well in that time.
Ever since then, whenever I have exams, those simple but warm words always encourage me to do my best.

8. Advantages and Disadvantages of the Mobile Phone 手机的优点和缺点
Like everything else, mobile phones have both favorable and unfavorable aspects.
First, it’s useful. As a wireless mobile telephone, it’s easy and handy to call wherever one goes and call the one however far away he is. Second, it’s convenient. Whenever one meets trouble or something urgent, one can make a call immediately.
However, the mobile phone also has many disadvantages. First, it’s expensive to buy and costly to pay the bills. Second, it’s also easy to lose and costly to get it repaired. Third, it’s alleged the microwaves in it might do harm to people" s health. I believe its advantages will far outweigh disadvantages soon.

In the cinema, some audiences talk loudly on cell phones in front of others.
I’m strongly against these bad manners, for these manners show no respect at all to others.

Now, choosing a job is faced by more and more young people. Many people say they would like to find an ideal job no matter how long it takes on the way.
For me, the first thing I would consider in choosing a job is location. As time is important, I think we should find the best way to save the time instead of wasting on the way to work everyday. Long time on the way to work means less time to sleep, and little fun with the family at night. If I buy a car and drive it by myself, it still cannot solve the problems above. In the rush, driving a car also is a burden to the traffic. So I want to choose a job near my house.

Where do you like to live? City or suburb? That is an interesting question.
Nowadays, more and more people enjoy the city life. Living in big city is convenient and wonderful. In cities, it is easy for you to call your friends to go to a bar or cinema. There are supermarkets, shopping malls.
By contrast, living in suburb is quite different. It serves fresh air and beautiful scenery and, for someone that is the most important thing. And, cars and internet are becoming more and more common so that living in suburb is not so boring like before.
For me, I like to live in big city when I am young and live in suburb when old to enjoy the quiet life and fresh air.

Nowadays, English is widely used in many international conferences and publications. So a large of people focus on English study. However, learning English is not effortless like we imagined.
In the first place, in my opinion, I believe that vocabularies are the greatest obstacle for us to overcome. There is no shortcut unless we can remain them in our memories in a period of time. No pains, No gains. We must spend more time in order to remember them. In the final place, it is a good idea that we write some English compositions to express our emotions in the blog. We will enhance our writing ability step by step.

13. East or West, Home is Best 金窝，银窝，不如自己的狗窝
What’s the best place in your heart? If I ask you where the best place is in your heart, perhaps you may say it’s Zhongnanhai, the White House or the Kremlin Palace. But I’ll tell you that it’s home rather than any one of them. Because a proverb says well that “East or west, home is best.”
That’s why? Because home is the port of our soul and the only one place that we are looking forward to going for the whole life. Because I think home means all to me and anybody else. It’s home where we can go whenever we are hurt or tired. It is also home where we can enjoy the feelings of parents, brothers and sisters. It’s home that that fights against wind or rain whether in the day time or at night.
In a word, whatever we do and wherever we go, home is the best place that we can go forever.

I think that friendship is the most beautiful thing in the world. It’s something as clear as crystal. It’s not a skill but a true feeling. When something troubles you, your best friend will say something to encourage you. When you feel cowardly, your friend will stay with you forever. Though sometimes you may quarrel, soon there will be nothing serious. If you have a good friend, you’ll feel the colorful life and I must say: “What a lucky dog you are!”

 When I was in kindergarten, I was very popular with my playmates because of my naughtiness（淘气）. Once I made an arrow（箭）, with which I hurt one of my playmates and received scolding from my mother afterwards.
When I grew up, my father and mother dare not allow me to play outside. But sometimes when we had time they would bring me to the parks, movies center and went swimming.
I liked swimming very much and played with my friends. My mother often scolded me when I didn't get home after school but never too severely.
I love my parents. I do think it is one of the best years in my whole life.

First of all ,I spend about half of my leisure time is listening to music, In this way .I can relax myself both physically and mentally, thus, I am doing some exercises. Basketball is my favorite sports. Finally I always help my parents do some housework.
These are the major ways I spend my spare time .Of course I would not forget "Time is money “After my spare time, I will come to study at once.

Nowadays, more and more people know the importance of keeping healthy. Without a healthy body, we can do nothing. For me, there are three ways to keep healthy.
Firstly, it is necessary to keep a green diet. It is better for us to have more fruits and vegetables everyday.
Secondly, it is important to take regular exercises, such as swimming, playing football and so on.
Finally, rest is a good way to keep our stress away. Let’s make healthy habits a part of our daily life.

English is always my favorite subject and I am good at English. The following is my way to overcome the difficulties in English studies.
First, remember 20 new words every day, and never give up.
Second, go over grammar points I have learnt in English class regularly.
Third, read an English article in China Daily every day.
Fourth,write an English articles every week to improve my writing level.
These above are what I have done to overcome my difficulties.

Honesty means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in act. He who lies and cheats is dishonest. Those who gain fortunes not by hard labor but by other means are dishonest.
Honesty is a good virtue. If you are honest all the time, you’ll be trusted and respected by others. A liar is always looked down upon and regarded as a black sheep by the people around. Once you lie, people will never believe you even if you speak the truth.
In short, honesty is the best policy. Honest, your reputation will become great; dishonest, your name will be spoiled and your personality degraded. Therefore, we should never make such an excuse as "A little dishonesty is only a trifle thing.

20. How to achieve success of distance learning 如何取得网络学习的成功
Distance learning has many advantages over regular courses. You should follow a certain set of rules or guidelines to achieve success especially in IT training courses learnt via distance learning mode.
First, you should devote much time in recollecting and going through the study materials and brushing up your skills without getting complacent or lazy. Since distance learning does not involve human intervention personally, you should make it a point to get the human touch to it by discussing it with the fellow students or teachers whenever it is possible to make it better to learn and to improve your skills. Since IT training courses require practical methods to learn, you should make it a point to put in practice of whatever you have learnt theoretically as this will make your skills grow laterally rather than in one direction. And thus you would also be able to apply what you have learnt in real time situation which is what required when it comes to IT learning

When I am reading something in English, I may often come across a new word. What＇s the best way to know it?
I may look it up in an English-Chinese Dictionary. It will tell me a lot about the word, the pronunciation, the part of speech, the Chinese meaning and also how to use this word.
But how can I find it in the dictionary both quickly and correctly7 First, all the English words are arranged in the＇alphabetical order. In the dictionary you can first see the words beginning with the letter A, then B, C, D, E,... That means, if there are two,words "desert" and "pull", "desert" will be certainly before "pull". Then if there are two words both beginning with the same letter, you may look at the second letter. Then the third, the fourth, ... For example,"pardon" is before "plough", "judge" before "just",etc.
