2、nd the west. 教学重点: Learn and practise “ Can I have some …” and “ You’re welcome.” 教学难点: Learn and grasp these sentences. 教学准备: Recorder, tape, some foods, ppt, a tray, all kinds of cards. 教学过程: I. Greeting & warming up 1. Greet students: T: Class begins. Ss: Stand up
3、 T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: How are you today? Ss: Very well, thanks. 2. Warm up: Let’s do Play the content on P49 and P52 and let students clap while following the tape. II. Presentation 1. Words storm: Show pictures of all kinds lot foods. Get students t
4、o read these words out. 2. Free talk to lead into a new sentence --- “ You’re welcome.” 1) Make a new situation: Use characters with which students are familiar to lead into a dialogue: ---Waiter! I’d like some bread, please. ---Here you are. ---Thank you. ---You’re welcome. The teacher a
5、cts as a waiter and invite one or two students to performance this dialogue. Give awards to them. 2) Show “You’re welcome.” by PPt, then on the Bb. Read it for students. Then let them follow. And practise individually. Give awards to the one who reads best. 3) Exchange the characters: One student
6、acts as a waiter. Then act the dialogue out with the teacher. 4) Students act the dialogue out. Praise and award the best. 3. Lead into “Can I have some water, please?” 1) When students performance, the teacher says,“I’m thirsty. Can I have some water, please?” 2) Show “Can I have some water, pl
7、ease?” by the PPt and on the Bb. Encourage them to answer this sentence. Then teach them to read it by three steps: some water---have some water---Can I have some water---Can I have some water, please? 3) Practise this dialogue again and again: First boys and girls read it in turns. Boys ask, and
8、girls answer. Then exchange the characters. Then read it in groups in turns. III. Listening and imitation 1. Play the recorder. Let the students listen to the tape without their books. 2. Show the scene on P51. Tell them that is what they are learning. 3. Follow the tape. Get them to open thei
9、r books. Point to these sentences while reading. Practise it twice. The teacher may do some actions while reading to help them remember. IV. Practice 1. Practise the first part ---“Let’s talk” on P51 in groups. Get three groups to act it out. Then give the best cards. 2. Practise the second par
10、t---“Let’s play” in pairs. Provide some food cards. V. Extension 1. Show some food, encourage them to make up a new sentence. 2. According to these sentences, make up a new dialogue in groups. Award the best group. VI. Homework 1. Listen to the dialogue on P51 three times, and retell it. 2. According to the content of the unit, make up a dialogue by themselves.
