To many people, the word “Hollywood” has two meanings . Hollywood is a place in Los Angeles, California, USA. Hollywood is also the home of American movies.
Hollywood was just farmland in 1870. Early American movies were made in other places, such as New York and Chicago.In 1907 a director (导演) made a movie in Chicago.
