3、 HOW TO GET HAPPINESS 如何获得快乐
there is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.
First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.
Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.
无疑的快乐是世界上最宝贵的东西。没有它，人生将是空虚的而且毫无意义的。如果你希望知道如何获得快乐，你须注意下面两点。
健康是快乐的要诀。唯有身体强壮的人才能享受人生的乐趣。
快乐在于知足。一个不满于现状的人终是处在痛苦之中。

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.
如众所周知，书籍教我们学习人生，真理，科学以及其它许多有用的东西。它们增加我们的知识，扩大我们的心胸并加强我们的品格。换句话说，它们是我们的良师益友。这是为什么我们的父母终是鼓励我们要多读书的理由。
读书是一好事，但我们必须多加注意书的选择。不错，我们能从好书中获得益处。然而，坏书却对我们有害无益。

In my dream
Last night ,I dreamed I became a very beautiful brid.I dreamed that I was in a forest. In tht forest,there were a lot of animals.Then,an old bird told us,"we have a very beautiful forest,we should therefore protect it from pollution."All the animals agreed with him.
But the second day,people came into our forest.Many animals were caught.The people wanted to build house and parks in our forest.Many old trees were felled.And then suddenly,nothing was left standing.
I was so shocked and then I bursted out crying.I woke up at midnight.It was only a dream.

A book exhibition
Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today.Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country.Thought the children's books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely.Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount.Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。

    It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

    It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company.     It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh.     Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. 1、 My happy Spring Festival
After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala.
At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night.
Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost 12 pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep.

When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year.
After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got.
The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents.
This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.

我的快乐春节
吃完年夜饭后,我们一家人开始坐在电视机前,观看2008年春节晚会.
大概十点钟左右,黑暗的天空被许多五彩缤纷的礼花照亮了,阵阵礼花声洋溢喜悦之气.于是我们不看晚会了,开始爬上阳台去看礼花夜景.父亲也把我们家的礼花拿出来,让我们去放.真的好漂亮的夜晚.
过了一会,我的手机不停地响个不停.我收到很多来自我的朋友和同学的祝福短信,他们都祝福我新年快乐.我回了短信,也祝他们新年快乐.在接近12点时,我在即将到来的新年里许了个愿,然后就睡觉了.
当我新的一年的第一天醒来时,我的爸爸和妈妈都给了一个红包,他们祝我在新的一年里万事如意. 我谢了他们,快乐地接收了红包. 我早就等着这一天,因为我能收到很多红包. 这是一年之中我最幸福的时候.
吃了中餐,我们一家开始去逛公园,逛街,逛商店和超市. 在公园里我们拍了很多相片,在商店和超市里我们买了很多东西.我们遇到很多阿姨和叔叔,他们都祝我们新年快乐,并给了我红包.我都太高兴了,都数不清我得多少红包.
在接下来的几天,我们到外婆家和一些亲戚家去探亲,我们快乐地和他们吹牛,给他们送礼物,他们也给我们送礼物.
这就是我如何度过我的春节,在春节我玩得真开心呀!

Taday is sunday ,the weather is good ,i want to go hiking in the mountain ,but my parent said me to do not hard studing ,so i have to study at home .I has been studing for one hours now ,and i am very tired .The a midterm examination
will coming ,and i always get nervous but i think i will did ok in the exams ,because i think i was hard studing .For example,i had a cold last week ,and it until Yesterday on to come through,but i did not relaxing .While my mother was asking me to went to sleep ,i studied hard with my English until 12 pm so i think i will do ok in the exams ,and become a good student. 现已是星期天,天气很好,我想去登山,但是我的父母说我不努力学习,所以我不得不在家里学习。我已经学习一个小时了,我很累,期中考试要到了,我经常很紧张,但是我认为我将会在考试中做得不错,因为我认为我是努力学习。举例来说,我上星期感冒了,而且它直到昨天在度过,但我没有放松。而我的母亲要求我去睡了,我和我的英语学得很努力,直到12点,所以我想我会做的挺不错的考试,而成为一个好学生。
