Present Simple Tense
形式: 主语（第一、二人称和复数）+ 动词原形 + 宾语
主语（第三人称单数）+ 动词词尾要加-s + 宾语
动词由原形变第三人称单数的规则变化：

用法概念：
1.表示经常的或习惯性的动作，常与表示频度的时间状语连用。 2.表示主语具备的性格、能力和特征。
3.表示现在的状态。 4.表示客观事实和普遍真理。
5有些表示状态和感觉的动词表示现在发生的具体行为时，只用一般现在时，而不用进行时态。
一般现在时的用法：
1) 经常性或习惯性的动作，常与表示频度的时间状语连用。
时间状语：often, always, usually, sometimes ,every morning/ night/ day/ week morning, twice a week ,never.
如：I read English every morning. She sometimes goes shopping on Sundays.
2) 客观真理，客观存在，科学事实。如：The earth moves around the sun. Shanghai lies in the east of China.
3) 表示格言或警句中。如：Pride goes before a fall. 骄者必败。
4) 现在时刻的状态、能力、性格、个性。如：I don't want so much. He writes good English but does not speak well.
5）倒装句，表示动作正在进行，如：Here comes the bus. = The bus is coming. There goes the bell. = The bell is ringing.
6) 一般现在时Be动词情况： am, is, are也可以做一般现在时的助动词 如：I am a student
I用am you用are is用于she/ he /it 复数一律都用are,单数用is.

Present Progressive Tense：
现在进行时意义：表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或存在的状态。表示语：now, look, listen, right now, at the moment, these days
构成：由助动词be+动词的现在分词（即动词+ing）构成，be动词有人称和数的变化
动词现在分词的构成规则

以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去掉e,再加-ing

批注：draw、stay的现在分词分别是drawing和staying.原因是：w和y都是半元音。

不含情态动词（be随主语变化）
含情态动词（be放在情态动词后用原形）
陈述句
主语+be+v.-ing+其他He is playing basketball.
主语+情态动词+be+ving+其他。
He must be playing basketball. (表推测)
一般疑问句
Be+主语+ v.-ing +其他？ （即：将be动词提前）Yes, 主语+be. No, 主语+be+not.
Are you doing your homework?
Yes, I am. No, I am not.
否定句
主语+be+not+v.-ing+其他（即：在be动词后加not）Alice isn’t watching TV.
特殊疑问句
特殊疑问词+be+主语+ v.-ing +其他？
