A school bus is one that is used to take children to and from school.
In the USA, about 450,000 school buses take more than 25 million children to and from school. Yellow became the color of school buses in the USA in 1939. Dr. Frank got the good idea. This year, who “entertained us, challenged us and changed our world”? Absolutely, Jeremy Lin, an Asian-American NBA rising star, is one of those people. On April 18, TIME Magazine named him one of 2012’s Most Influential People in the World.
Lin, 23, is not just a good basketball player, but also a graduate of Harvard University, one of the best universities in the world.
“Lin has broken the idea that one can’t be a world-class player on the court and an excellent student off the court at the same time.” US Education Secretary Arne Duncan wrote in the TIME article about Lin.

Making peace at lunchtime
It was my first day at school. I felt nervous and went to all my classes with no friends.
I listened carefully to all the lessons and waited for lunch. Then, finally, the bell rang. It was time to talk and have fun.
In the lunch line I met a new friend who wore a hijab(穆斯林女性) on her head, and though I am Jewish (犹太人的), we got along fine. I was so happy when she said, “Sit with us at our table.” She pointed to the table next to the door.
So I agreed. I took my dishes and was about to walk with her across the floor, when suddenly someone touched my arm. “Hey, I saw you on the bus.” said a tall girl in a long skirt. “I see your Jewish star necklace. You should sit with us."
