“碧芝”最吸引人的是那些小巧的珠子、亮片等，都是平日里不常见的。据店长梁小姐介绍，店内的饰珠有威尼斯印第安的玻璃珠、秘鲁的陶珠、奥地利的施华洛世奇水晶、法国的仿金片、日本的梦幻珠等，五彩缤纷，流光异彩。按照饰珠的质地可分为玻璃、骨质、角质、陶制、水晶、仿金、木制等种类，其造型更是千姿百态：珠型、圆柱型、动物造型、多边形、图腾形象等，美不胜收。全部都是进口的，从几毛钱一个到几十元一个的珠子，做一个成品饰物大约需要几十元，当然，还要决定于你的心意 尽管售价不菲，却仍没挡住喜欢它的人。

I was very relaxed and asked my classmates a lot of questions about physics. I didn’t feel stressed out at all. At last, I finished my homework by myself for the first time. How excited I was!

It seems that many students go to take after-school classes, but it is just a waste of time and money. I used to go to different kinds of these classes, too. But later I realized I couldn't do that any more. I began to spend more time reading, doing sports and taking some social activities. Meanwhile, I didn't fall behind others in study.
I prefer to have time to enjoy the nature. It's a wise way to know about the world. So I often put my spare time to good use by watching animals, plants, rocks .around my city. I still remember that day I went to the Forest Park this spring! And I found a few plants appearing in my biology books. It offered me an opportunity to deepen my understanding of my textbooks.
Learning by using is a real practice. I have benefited a lot from it. Now I am becoming more creative and confident than those who are always involved in taking after-school classes.

I don’t think grades are important. Students have different abilities and some of them can’t be measured by grades, such as creativity, abilities to communicate and act.
To start with, I wasn’t good at English and seldom got high scores on the exams. But one day, my teacher encouraged me to perform in an English play because of my good pronunciation and lively expressions. To perform well, I studied my lines many times and even dressed up like the character. While we were performing, I could hear my classmates cheering. How excited! Later, my teacher praised me for my wonderful acting and this made me more confident and interested in English.
All in all, grades can be a way to measure students’ achievements in schoolwork. However, different interests and abilities can make a student a full man.

A school did a survey among 100 students about their plans for social practice activities during the summer vacation. Here are the results. Sixty-six students want to do community volunteer work. Twenty-four percent are going to learn a life skill. And only one tenth are interested in having a yard sale. In my view, it's good to do community volunteer work.
Doing community volunteer work is one of the best ways to develop my abilities to communicate and cooperate. The community is a lot like a big family of different people First, I need to make a group of volunteers by talking with the teenagers. Then we're going to work out different plans based on old people's needs. We can also organize some outdoor activities for the kids and hand out advertisements to better our environment.
