5、 II. Pronounce Phonetic Symbols (10%) There are 24 pieces of “English Phonetic Symbols” in this item, 10 phonetic symbols in one piece. Each student will draw one piece of them that must be pronounced with correct pronunciation. Both English phonemes and American phonemes are involved in each piece.
6、 Each individual will get a different piece. It takes 10%, one score for each phonetic symbol. Word stress, reading rules and connected speech are also examined. Each individual will get a different piece. It takes 20
8、%, one score for each word and two scores for each expression. Part A contains 5 sentences and Part B contains 1 tongue twister or 1 dialogue or 1 passage. Each student will draw one piece of them that must
10、be read with correct pronunciation and intonation which can be both English one and American one. Connected speech is also examined. Each individual will get a different piece.
