English Department, Sichuan College of EducationFinal Examination of Phonetics NOTICE：This test paper is designed to determine how much the students have learned in English Phonetics. There are four parts: identifying phonemes, pronouncing phonetic symbols, reading words and expressions, reading sentences or tongue twisters or dialogues or passages are involved in this test paper. Each student is to have an interview to finish the test paper according to the directions within 20 minutes(10 minutes for preparation, and the other 10 minutes for interview). Each individual will get a different piece. It takes 10%, one score for each phonetic symbol. Each individual will get a different piece. It takes 20%, one score for each word and two scores for each expression. Each student will draw one piece of them that must be read with correct pronunciation and intonation which can be both English one and American one. Connected speech is also examined.
