Part Three: Grammar—article 冠词
冠词分为：定冠词_______, 不定冠词______和______，零冠词。
定冠词的用法：1. 特指某人或某物；2. 再次提到某人或某物；
3.说话双方都知道的人或物前；4. 世界上独一无二的事物前；
5. 和部分形容词连用表示一类人；6. 用在序数词和最高级前；
7. 用在乐器前；8. 用在姓氏复数前表示一家人。
不定冠词的用法：泛指某人或某物，译为“一个或一”。a 用于_______因素开头
的单数可数名词前，an 用于_______因素开头的单数可数名词前。
知识小积累：1. 一般情况下，以“a, e, i , o, u”开头的单词前用“an”,但”one, European, university, usual, useful”前用“a”;
2. “hour, honor, honest” 前用an;
3. 在26个英文字母中，有12个字母单独出现或大写读字母本身的读音时用an:” Mr. Li has one fox”.
零冠词的用法：1. 抽象名词、物质名词和单个构成的专有名词前一般不用冠词；
2. 月份、星期、季节前不用冠词；
3. 可数名词的复数及不可数名词不与冠词连用；
4. 名词前已有this, that, these, those, my, your, whose, some, any, no, each, every等代词时不用冠词；
5. 球类、棋类、三餐、学科、语言的名词前不用冠词；
6. 表示节日的名词前通常不用冠词，但传统节日前要加定冠词；
7. 某些固定短语中。如：on foot, by bus，at night等。
易错点：1. 乘飞机去北京花了史密斯一家人一个小时。
[误] It takes Smiths a hour to go to Beijing by a plane.
[正] It takes the Smiths an hour to go to Beijing by plane.
[析] 1．表示“……一家人”用结构“the + 姓氏复数”；
2．our 一词的第一个字母不发音，它是以元音音素开头的，所以“一小时”要用 an hour；
3．用介词by表示“乘坐”某种交通工具时，交通工具名词前不加任何冠词。
