Describe a song that reminds you of a particular time.

Im sure a lot of people have a song that reminds them of their first kiss or a childhood memory, but one song that always brings a smile to my face is Gangnam Style by the South Korean artist, Psy.
The song is all in Korean, so Im not particularly sure what it is about. I know that Gangnam is a rich area of the Seoul, the capital of South Korea, a bit like Beverly Hills in California. The video for the song is very random, with tongue-in-cheek jokes about money and being wealthy.
When I hear the song, it takes me back to my time at university. I can remember when it first started to appear on the internet, on social media and video sites like YouKu I would watch it with my roommates in my dorm and in class on my phone. Then it really took off and it seemed to be everywhere, in shops, on TV and especially in bars and nightclubs.
Back then I used to listen to Gangnam Style all the time, you couldnt really escape it, but nowadays it isnt played so often. Its been overtaken by new catchy songs like Xiao Pingguo, which means little apple.
To be honest, these days I find the song a bit annoying. I think it was overplayed and people got tired of it. But I guess it still holds a special place in my mind as it reminds me of being young and at university, of staying up late with my friends and watching videos on the internet until the early hours.

1. Do you have a favourite teacher?
Um Yeah, I suppose I do, but its actually kind of hard to pick out a favourite because Ive been really lucky with all my teachers. You know, theyve been really great, at least most of them anyway, but I guess my favourite teacher would have to be my Chinese language teacher, because she was incredible. I mean, the amount of effort she put into her teaching, and her attention to detail, were just amazing. And not only that but she also showed a genuine care for all of us, which left a really deep impression on me. So yeah, out of all my teachers, Id say she was probably my favourite.

2. What kinds of teachers do you like?
I guess. umfirst of all, teachers who are passionate about their subject, because you know, if they show enthusiasm for what theyre teaching, Im much more likely to get interested in that subject and do well in it. And as well as this, I also like teachers that are supportive andwhats the word.approachable. So in other words, teachers that show patience and understanding, and are there for you if you need help.

Um. I guess the best way to answer this would be to think of some of the good teachers Ive had at school and university. So please hang on just a second while I have a quick think about it..! Ok, well the good teachers Ive had have shown a genuine care for their students. You know, they genuinely want their students to learn and develop. Its not just simply a job to them. So yeah I think thats the most important thing taking their job seriously and really caring about their students development.

解析：
很多同学人物类话题喜爱使用模板，上来就是外貌描述，然后是性格，等等等等，然而这样的描述完全不自然，很容易听出来是背诵或套用，请尽量避免。我们说的所有内容都要与话题相关。
这个话题显然必须要讲的重点是在一起，那么一起做什么就会占到2分钟的大部分篇幅。必须要避免讲得太杂太散，导致没有连贯性。必须要把相关的内容放在一起讲，围绕一个点，讲几句话然后再讲另一个点。这是一种常用的PART2的技巧。
举例来说，很多同学想讲妈妈，那么，不要说，跟妈妈在一起有时逛街，有时聊天，有时候妈妈做饭给我吃这样描述生硬而且简单，不能达到表现语言水平的目的。必须要在每个内容上做一定的扩大(细节，原因，结果，举例等等)，并且在词汇上加以提升，挖掘出每个内容可以涉及的亮点(词汇、搭配、语法结构等)，从而达到我们表现语言的目的。
范文：Im going to talk about my mom, because I spend most time with her at home. Actually, we dont do anything special together, but I feel relaxed, comfortable and safe with her.We often have meals together, especially the dinner. Mom cooks for the family and I often help her in the kitchen. I would say she is a good cook, although her cooking is not comparable with the chefs in top restaurants. However, on top of all the common dishes and traditional Chinese food, she knows some secret recipes that are really fantastic. More importantly, mom would adjust the flavor of the dishes to my liking. I guess thats why I have been used to her cooking and the balanced, nutritious diet.Mom and I also talk quite a lot. Unlike other mothers, my mom tries her best to find common topics with me, although we obvious have a generation gap. I can tell that she really cares much about me. She would ask me questions about the animation series that I watch as well as the bands that I listen to. When we watch TV together, which happens quite a lot, we would talk about the story line and sometimes try to speculate plots and even the ending of different characters. We dont always reach an agreement, however, its great fun.

题目的变化与思路Describe a situation you waited for someoneDescribe a time you waited in a traffic jam 有时候这种题目重点放在感受，你等待的过程是一种怎样的体验。当然这也是这种题目的难点。因为如果你之说一个烦字，就很难撑到两分钟。所以感受可以一分阶段的方式展开，比如说可以说开始感受是很ok，觉得没什么;然后在等待10分钟以后可能就开始比较烦躁了(start to feel cranky and annoyed)，这时候你可以打 或者督促一下你等的等等;再过一段时间，感情可能就要变成着急了又生气(really mad)，因为无限的等待让你觉得会耽误接下来的行程，或者是让你不知道该怎么做了(dont know what Im supposed to do next)。
选题材：很多等待的经历，但是有时候是很短暂很一般的等待，比如等公车，排队买电影票。这种题材就算是英语大神也很难延伸，因为实在是没有什么可说的。 所以题目中其实暗含着一个字，就是impressive and special, 有什么等待的经历让你觉得比较特别呢?你可以是等待假期的到来，好去旅行;或者等待你最喜爱的电影上映，这些话题中其实都有可以延伸的点，旅行你可以说途中看到的感受到的;电影你可以说为何如此喜爱那部戏。
那在这里选题我是选择了旅行，并受了一句歌词的启发，叫做是等太阳升起，还是意外先来临，于是加入了途中等日出这个环节。这样可以把一些熟悉的话题和这个题目有效的结合在一起。
Actually, we all have some experience of waiting for a moment or someone and now Id like to talk about a situation that I waited for the sunrise. I remembered it was on the top of the Tai Mountain which is one of the most popular tourist sites in Shandong Province. So my friend Kim and two other classmates decided to visit it with me. It was in last summer holiday but surprisingly, when we reached the top of the mountain, it felt freezing cold. That experience really impressed me because we went hiking during the night, starting at about 1:30 am and the trip to the top of the mountain cost us about three and a half hours. And all these efforts were for the sunrise. As to why we waited for that moment. Well, most importantly, the sunrise at the Tai Mountain was famous for its spectacular scenery so we really would like to watch it in person. Also, it was said not everyone could see the sunrise because the weather could be pretty unpredictable and if the day was too cloudy and foggy, the views and sunshine might be blocked. Only the lucky persons could see it. So I guess we kind of wanted to try our luck as well. And at the beginning of the waiting, we were a bit nervous and worried because all the hard works and long trip might be a waste of time and obviously, we didnt want to be the unlucky persons. But after one hour and 40 mins waiting and got totally freeze, we finally saw the marvelous sunrise and the view was amazing. The sun was surrounded by the cloud and the sunshine just came through fog, making everything look very warm and dreaming. It was a moment that totally worth waiting!
