October 1st is the national day of our country. This year, we have a golden week holiday for eight days. Besides, according to the new rules, all highways of our country are free of charge during the eight-day holiday. Therefore, many people choose self-driving tour, which expects to save much money. However, during these days we can see that the situation is not as good as expected.

Because of the huge traffic flow, tens of thousands of people catch traffic jam in highways, which rarely happened in the past. Besides, when they get to the destination, they find that they are crowed with people, which makes their trip worse. From TV or Internet, we can see that visitors of most famous scenic spots are far more than the maximum capacity.

China has the largest population in the world. As there are many China-towns in the world, it shows that Chinese people are everywhere, because the traditional idea advocates that the more children, the better for a family. While the situation is opposite in the western country, they chase for freedom and inpiduality. Having more children is burden for them, and some people choose to be single all the time. So the birth rate is really low in western countries, such as Canada. The government even inspires people to have babies, and they promises to offer prizes like money and baby stuff, but the birth rate still the same, even worse. In my opinion, everybody has the choice to decide whether to be a parent. If they love children, then they can raise more according to the financial situation.
中国是世界上人口最多的国家。由于世界上唐人街的数量很多，说明白处处都是中国人。由于传统观念主见一个家庭中孩子越多越好。然而西方国家的状况是相反的，他们追赶自由和独特，孩子多是负担，有些人直接选择单身。所以在西方国家诞生率很低，比方加拿大，政府甚至还嘉奖人们去生小孩，承诺供应奖品，比方金钱和婴儿生活用品，但诞生率照旧没有转变，甚至更糟。在我看来，每个人都有权力选择确定是否成为父母。假如他们宠爱小孩，在财务状况允许下，他们可以哺育更多的孩子。

But the number of giant pandas is getting smaller and smaller. many hunters kill them for their fur and farmers change the nature reserves to make more farmlands. i think giant pandas need our help. we should take actions to protect animals. encouraging hunters and farmers to leave reserves is the most important. though im still a student, i can write to newspapers and magazines about protecting animals. i hope animals can live a happy life.

In the long history of Chinese course development, there are many differences between the Southern and Northern tastes. Generally speaking, the southern courses emphasize freshness and tenderness; while the northern courses are oilier. As a typically southerner, I prefer freshness and pure flavor. So my favorite food is steaming fish.

Steaming fish is a classical Guang Dong dish. Its famous for light, soft and slippery taste. The material must be fresh, and the cook must control the heat to make sure the fish remain tender and pure. Put the fresh fish in the pot to steam for 8 minutes with mild heat. Before the dish is finished, add a spoon of oil and some chopped green onion and a spoon of soy sauce, and then the steaming fish is done. My mother is very good at cooking this course. I really love the way she cook the fish, not only maintain the original flavors of the fish, but also provide with enough protein.
