1、鲧禹治水鲧禹治水 洪水滔天，鲧窃帝之息壤以堙洪水，不待帝命。帝令祝融杀鲧于羽郊。鲧复生禹，帝乃命禹卒布土以定九州。注释鲧(gn)：人名，禹的父亲。帝:指天帝。息壤：一种神土，传说这种土能够生长不息，至于无穷，所以能堵塞洪水，故名。息，生长。堙（yn）：堵塞。祝融：火神的名字。羽郊：羽山的近郊。复：通“腹”。传说鲧死三年，尸体不腐，鲧腹三年后自动裂开，禹乃降生。布：同“敷”，铺陈，即陈设，布置。九州：古代分中国为九个州，这里泛指全国的土地。中文译文洪水滔天，灾害严重，鲧违抗天帝的命令擅自盗取了他的息壤来堵塞洪水。天帝让火神祝融在羽山近郊杀死鲧。鲧死后三年，尸体没有腐蚀。三年后自动裂开，禹降生了。
