　　Journey to the West “is one of the four great masterpieces and my favorite book to read. The reason for liking it is simple, with exciting plots, vivid characters, genuine emotions, and simplicity.

　　After Sun Wukong caused havoc in the Heavenly Palace and was saved by the kind-hearted Tang Monk who was suppressed by the Buddha at the foot of the Five Elements Mountain, he accepted the lecherous Zhu Bajie and the loyal Sha Monk. Later, he accepted a white dragon horse, and the four masters and disciples defeated countless demons and ghosts. After going through 981 difficulties, the four masters and disciples finally became immortals.

　　I think Sun Wukong’s daring spirit is admirable, and his temperament is actually quite tough. Of course, the master always misunderstands Sun Wukong because he doesn’t have his fiery eyes. The master is too kind, so he always recognizes some demons and monsters as good people. Sun Wukong doesn’t know, because he has a burning eye and can see the original form of the destructor at a glance. His somersault cloud 72 transformation is truly admirable. And his golden cudgel can zoom in and out at any time. Although it is said that Zhu Bajie is always lazy and indulging in extravagance and drinking, he also has advantages, such as being dedicated to protecting his master every time. 　　Among the four disciples, I like Sun Wukong the most. Sun Wukong’s characteristic is bravery. Every time he encounters difficulties, he will do everything possible to solve them, so he is a role model for us to learn from.

　　After reading this masterpiece, I have come to understand that in the future, when we encounter difficulties in life or study, we cannot give up. We must face them bravely and find ways to solve them. If we encounter difficulties in our studies, we must first delve into them ourselves. However, he does not lack kindness, and is a kind-hearted and contented Sha Monk. These four characters have different personalities, but their images are the same, forming a sharp contrast. This makes me have to admire the author’s superb writing skills! Perhaps the author is good at portraying character images, which is his subtlety. My favorite among them is Sun Wukong, and I believe you also like him. Because his characteristics are: vast divine power, superb skills, and courage to move forward. Along the way, protecting Tang Monk and his disciples successfully obtained the scr ptures, but he became my “idol” in my heart.
