Ø when 引导的时间状语从句

定义：when 表示“当…时候”，引导时间状语从句，从句和主句的动作可以是同时发生，也可以是
先后发生。
例：When he was on his way to school, a car accident happened.
当他去学校的时候，发生了一起车祸。（同时发生）

When he finished his homework, he went to bed immediately.
当他做完作业后，他马上就上床睡觉了。（先后发生）

NOTE: when 常用于一般现在时和一般过去时，也可用于迚行时。当从句的谓语动词为延续性动词
时，可用 when 戒 while 引导从句；但当从句的谓语动词为瞬间性动词时，只能用 when 引导。
例：When / While we were sleeping, the ring suddenly rang.
