13、and show that a variety of factors are contributing to those concerns.   The survey of 1,000 adults by GoBankingR finds that two-thirds of Americans are stressed about money overall. When you break the results down generationally, some interesting things emerge. Ninety percent of the Silent Gener

14、ation, which the survey defines as those born between 1925 and 1945, report being stressed about money. Only 65 percent of Millennials, defined as those born between 1982 and 2004, are stressed. Gen-Xers, born between 1966 and 1981, are the sweet spot, with a stress level of exactly 66 percent.

Male millennials are more likely to feel positively about their financial situation, with 54 percent saying they are not stressed, compared with only 31 percent of millennial women saying the same.
