W: I helped an old woman find her husband. It took a while.

W: No. She could see clearly, but she couldn’t hear well. The woman was talking over the phone loudly. But it seemed she didn’t know what the other person was saying on the phone. So I went over and offered to help.
M: Was it her husband who was on the phone with her?
W: Yes. He was waiting for her just outside the airport, but she couldn’t hear him clearly and couldn’t find him. So I got on the phone, talked to her husband for a minute and took her to where her husband was waiting for her.
M: You are always so nice. So are you hungry now?
W: A little.
M: How about going to eat first? There is a nice restaurant near here. It serves nice steaks.
W: I had a steak this noon. How about some Chinese food?
M: OK. I know one which isn’t far away from here. It’s five o’clock now, so I think we’ll be able to get there at half past five.

Good evening, and welcome to the ten o’clock news.
Tonight’s top story: A baby has been found abandoned at a local hospital. A cleaner working there found the baby girl, who is thought to be only a few days old, at 2 o’clock this morning. Police are appealing for the baby’s mother to come forward. Meanwhile, the baby is being well cared for by the hospital staff and she is said to be doing well.
Next let’s come to another story: Three people have been injured after a car crash in the center of the city. It is said that one driver suddenly lost control of his car for unknown reasons, which police are investigating. Luckily, the accident was only minor and no one was seriously injured or killed.
And now for the weather: Tomorrow is set to be rainy, with light spells of sunshine towards midday. Temperatures are expected to remain below 10 degrees, with a maximum of 11 in the Southeast. On Tuesday things will be brighter, with temperatures of 20 degrees and much sunshine, so get your summer clothes out!
