I’m glad to tell you that I have made great progress in my English study since I became a senior high school student.
However，when I started senior English in the beginning, I found it much more difficult than what we learned in the junior high school and I almost lost heart. Later, I realized the importance of English, so I got up early every morning, recited English words, listened to English tapes and did a lot of exercises. I also asked my teachers and classmates for better ways of learning English.

It is slightly smaller than our state New Mexico. Poland has a population of over 38 million. Its capital is Warsaw. The official language there isn’t English. People in the country mainly speak Polish. It is wet and cold in winter there, but in summer the weather is very comfortable.
Now I will tell you something about Spain. Spain is a land of incredible beauty. Its official name is the Kingdom of Spain. Its total size is about 195,364square miles. It is slightly more than twice the size of Oregon. Its population is over 46 million. Its capital is Madrid. People in the country mainly speak Spanish. It is cold in winter and hot in summer in the inland areas. It has more comfortable weather along the coast.
