In this tale，three mice learn a lot about colors and how much fun you can have with them. They don't settle for just painting with the colors, however, but insist on dipping their toes (脚趾) into the colors and creating new combinations from them，showing children what happens when they mix red and blue or yellow and red together.
How Do Dinosaurs Learn Their Colors?
This seemingly simplistic tale shows us how dinosaurs learn all about the different colors in the world through the items around them. Simple things teach the dinosaurs in the book what each color is. For instance, a purple towel that has been left on the floor shows both children and the dinosaurs what the color purple is.

When my friend Lesa was diagnosed(诊断) with cancer, another friend and I went to the hospital to spend some time with her. We bought her a small toy and named him Lemon－Aide. We gave Lemon－Aide to Lesa and told her he was to go with her to all of her treatments to remind her that we were thinking of her and caring about her even though we could not always be with her. When the treatments were completed, she said when someone else needed him she would pass him along.
A few months later，much to my surprise, it was me that she passed him to. Lemon－Aide went with me to all of my treatments.
One day while waiting for my doctor I decided we could market the idea to fight cancer. Lesa thought it was a great idea so we founded the organization that came to be known as Lemon－Aide' s Friends, Inc. We designed our organization to remind people fighting cancer that there are people who love and care about them all the time. Today we have totally 5013 volunteers. The money raised is donated to cancer patients who do not have insurance. The Physicians on our Board of Advisors determine how and where our money is donated.
Lemon－Aide is for men, women, and children of all ages and to date has been sent to 34 states and 33 countries to provide smiling support for people fighting cancer. When life gave us lemons we made Lemon－Aide, a soft smiling toy that represents love, support, and encouragement.

“Sorry, but I don’t agree with you…” This is usually followed by unbearable silence and angry tears. I’ve always found it difficult to disagree with someone because I don’t want to lose a friend. I’ve found it even harder to accept it when someone disagrees with me, because my ego (自尊心) is hurt.
Before the other person gets a chance to explain why she disagrees with me, my usual response would be, “If you aren’t able to see my point of view, then what you think isn’t worth my time or consideration, either.” But now I’ve come to realize that when a friend disagrees with me, sometimes she is simply saying, “I don’t agree with the way things are done.” She still respects me as a person, and is only pointing out a better way to look at a matter. However, there may be times when my friend disagrees with me because I’m against the truth. That’s when I need to listen to what she says.
I’ve learned that for me one way to help my friend is to be open and honest with the other to voice my thoughts and listen to the other carefully. While we can’t control how a person will respond to our views, we must learn to disagree with our friends in love. We will never feel that we are better than the other person. And that will help us to be less emotional, and more objective in the way we express our opinions. In the same way, we can also stay open to feedback (反馈) from others, knowing that our friends may be correcting us in love.
Good friendships build each other up, sometimes through disagreements and honest opinions. Though I don’t like being disagreed with, I’m starting to see the value of such disagreements.

The latest study by the University of Florida has found that eating from smaller, less beautiful, and even paper plates will help prevent overeating. Eating with a fork instead of a spoon can help you lose weight, the researchers say. Much to their surprise, they find that putting mirrors in the dining room will also help reduce weight.
The researchers asked 185 college students to choose a chocolate cake or a fruit salad, and evaluated the taste. Those who ate in a room with a mirror scored the taste of junk food much lower than those in a room without a mirror. But the taste of fruit salad remained the same in any case.
Lead scientist, Dr. Ata Jami, says that a glance in the mirror tells people more than just about their physical appearance. It enables them to view themselves objectively (客观地) and helps them to judge themselves and their behavior in the same way that they judge other people.
The mirrors were found to push people to compare and match their own behavior with accepted social standards. The researchers believe it proves that people don’t want to look in the mirror when they feel they are following the social standards. When they look in the mirror with mouths full of junk food, feelings of discomfort and failure can be increased. Therefore, the presence of the mirror lowers the taste of unhealthy food.
However, researchers say this is only the case if people select the food they are eating, because they are responsible for that choice. The researchers suggest that mirrors be placed in dining rooms and other eating spaces, so that people will start eating more healthily.
