I want to tell about my admiration for my high-school music teacher, Dell Frickey. She was strict, patient and confident. She ran an excellent music program, and her team won prizes at all sorts of state, national, and international competitions. I can recall her facial expressions when she was pleased or displeased, and the shapes of her hands and fingers, which seemed to be in constant motion. She isn’t a beautiful woman, but she has a really beautiful soul.
