【摘要】原版英文影视是一种视听并用、音像同步的媒体，利用优秀的原版英文影视学习英语，情景直观，内容生动具体。对在汉语环境下学习英语的中国学生来说具有十分重要的意义。本文将从我们学习英文构建英语情景的重要性出发，引出通过原版英文影视学英语，进而探讨通过原版英文影视学英语的优势、原则、方法，论述英文电影在创造真实的语言环境、提高听说能力；激发学生学习兴趣、培养英语思维；增强文化意识、提高跨文化交际能力方面所起的积极作用。

[Abstract] Original English films and televisions and televisions are media which combines the audio and visual and synchronizes the audio and video. The scene is intuitive and the contents are vivid and specific to learn English through excellent original English films and televisions and televisions. It has very significant meaning for Chinese students to learn English in Chinese Environment. In this paper, we will start with the importance to build English scene in English learning to lead to learn English through the original English films and televisions and televisions, and then explore the advantages, principles, methods of learning English through the original English films and televisions and televisions and discuss the positive roles that the original English films and televisions and televisions have been playing in creating real English environment, improving learners’ listening capacity; in stimulating learners’ interest in learning, cultivating learners’ English thinking; enhancing cultural awareness, improving cross-cultural communicative competence and so on.

[Abstract] Original English films and televisions and televisions are media which combines the audio and visual and synchronizes the audio and video. [Introduction] After more than ten years hard-work, fighting examinations, adventuring through the printed pages of bound volumes, we sigh with shame: Why do we feel inadequate and powerless when we communicate in English and after a few words of greeting courtesy left will be an awkward stammer sound of it? Why we learn so bitter, so tired, but at the end, only can we listen to others who speak English like a pouring of large and small pearls into a plate of jade, and only can we have envy heart under it? Under the pressure of examination-oriented education, high school English teachers are forced to pay too much attention to the training of the students' reading, writing, translation ability of examination which causes that high school students' English listening and speaking ability is generally lagging behind. At college, there is at most one English lesson a week, which gives rise to English ability decrease sharply! However, the purpose of learning a language is to communicate. People living in different environments, there are all kinds of different problems waiting for us to solve. If we are limited in the range of knowledge that teachers and textbook contents describe, or just rely on the rules of grammar we have learned, how do we deal with so complex world? Therefore if we want to learn English well, we have to rely on ourselves. Nowadays a very popular method of learning English is to watch movies to learn English [1] .By watching English movies can we master commonly used sentence patterns, and understand the applicable context of the various expressions to improve our listening and speaking ability. This way you can make English no longer daunting, lifeless, and become funny, and be practiced lively. Special training by the original English films and televisions both can stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning English and can effectively solve the problem of the "dumb English" and "deaf English" caused by capacity lag. To learn a foreign language well, one must first understand the country's culture, so as to achieve unity in cognition, emotion, will when use the language, which can reach the purpose of communication. But the British and American culture we have learned is filtered through the eyes of countrymen, so in order to truly understand the British and American culture, in addition to visit Britain and America, the best way is to watch a variety of subjects about British and American films and televisions. At the same time pay attention to the accumulation of language learning, understanding and use of language. Life is the source language. Language daily life is a scene in the background of life learning, "sufficient to provide learning under the background of the plot is the most effective" [2]. It would appear that for non-native -language learners, through television to learn the language of the country is the best way. Significance of learning English through original English films and televisions will be talked here. 1. The importance of building an English scene to learn English
1.1Why do we learn English so hard but slowly?
Firstly that English we are learning is edited, cut to fit the level of language learners, rather than reflected the cultural heritage of the juice in English. For example, perhaps you know the "friend", "pal", "buddy", "dude", "fellow", "guy" and so mean "a friend, buddy child", but do we know how to use them in each occasion?
Secondly what we have learned the Anglo-American culture is filtered through the eyes of the people of Anglo-American culture, rather than the culture British and Americans themselves live, learn, work and relax manner to build, we may have read or studied books of Anglo overview or the similar courses, but we just a bunch of ambiguous terminology or theoretical summary of United States and British political system, economic development, and other aspects of life, so we feel just translate that we can read in Chinese books in English again.
Thirdly the way we think is different with English native speakers, so what we say in English seems stiff, rigid and not authentic!
1.2 So how can we solve these problems? Constructing English context and learning English in the context can help us solve these problems!
Why we say that English context can help us solve these problems? Under normal circumstances, many words are not only one meaning, when an author or speaker use a word they just choose one meaning, rather than the others. If there is no particular context, we cannot determine the meaning the speaker to express, even cause misunderstandings. Austin, a British linguist in his book "theory holds that as," also said: "The words used, to a certain extent, from the context in order to be explained", "a statement of truth and falsity, not only determine the next significance of training also depends on what environment and what things you do. "Left the occasion and the particular context of the language used, the unit can not play the role of language in the dissemination of information. Therefore, the role of research context is very important. In the context of the many factors, depending on the context to grasp the specific context of the original statement, understand the meaning of the original text, select the appropriate translation accurate method is particularly important [3]. Constructivism regard that learning is always with a certain social and cultural background or "situational" linked in real contexts for learning, learners can use their existing cognitive structure and relevant experience to assimilate index of the current study to new knowledge, giving a sense of new knowledge; knowledge is not obtained by the teaching of the teacher, but learners that social and cultural context in certain situations, with the help of other people, including teachers and learning partners, with the necessary learning materials, through the construction of meaning obtained [4].This context provides a theoretical basis for English learning. So how can we learn English better in the situation? By limited English classroom, English horn and other activities would be difficult to master English well! Visiting the English-speaking countries? For most Chinese college students is unrealistic! In fact, watching the movies from Europe and America, it can provide us with direct knowledge of the British and Americans thinking and the way of culture and customs, through authentic language environment, exercise and improve their English television, listening, reading, speaking, writing and translation of the comprehensive capacity!
2. The advantage of learning English by original English films and TV show.
2.1 Firstly the original English films and TV show can stimulate learners' enthusiasm and initiative effectively. The learning motivation is a kind of internal motivation that can promote student’s to learn directly. And it also is a kind of mental state which an individual wants to meet the material and spiritual needs and then he is long for knowing and understanding the world. Marx said: "The fundamental driving force of people is need." Film is a special audio-visual media; it combines the voice and video together as one, and it makes language information associated with a particular scenario, thus, it achieves a multi-channel, colorful, vivid messaging. Enjoying an excellent English movies and tasting the pleasure of film art is a psychological need for most students. European and American educators believe that when students involved in the learning process actively, the learning purpose is the best. Therefore, the original English films and TV show can greatly inspired students’ desire for knowledge and learning initiative [5].
2.2 Secondly English films and TV show can stimulate learners' interest in learning and improve learners’ thinking ability in English. After a period of experimental class of film "Pride and Prejudice", Coke Mei (2009) conducted a survey and found that 98 percent of students have a strong interest in learning English by watch film. Albert Einstein said, "Interest is the best teacher." The famous educator Shinseki once said, "If there is no interest, but forced to learn, students’ willingness of mastering knowledge will be stifled” Thus, the interest in learning is very important [8]. So far, among all the factors that influence the effectiveness of learning a foreign language, the most important factors are two: one is emotion, and the other is mother tongue. Emotion refers to the emotions and feelings of human behavior, including motivation, attitudes, self-esteem, self-confidence, anxiety, empathy, and self-image. Emotion is important, because it is the learning engine. No matter how good the machine is, if it can be started, it just is a pile of waste. If the role of emotions can be played well, it can start learning, mobilize the enthusiasm of learning, release the potential of learning and resolve the psychological and ideological problems of learning [6]. Numerous mental phenomena study proved that have a good mood is a necessary prerequisite for successful acceptance of information and knowledge. And the enthusiasm of student learning English depends largely on whose interest of English [7]. Films just provide learners with a relaxing atmosphere which can reduce the anxiety and negative attitudes of language learners. We are often funny laughter by Friends, and we are moved by the sweet and youthful of Cinderella story .by desperate housewives philosophical discourse and so on classic lines of their humor is so that we can not help but keep in mind, so we can humor when have a sense of humor! These can greatly stimulate students' desire for knowledge and interest, and enhance learning outcomes [9].
