9、PERVISION OF ALL SAFETY ASPECTS. PROCEDURE: The Activities Department is responsible for the safety, of all the activities it offers. Both the equipment supervisor and the assistant must be fully aware of all safety procedures and must supervise their implementation. Specific rules to be
10、adhered to are: ON THE BEACH 1. Lifejackets should be offered to any guest who goes out on the water. 2. The chase boat should always be available at short notice. It must be equipped with paddles and lifejackets. 3. No boats should go out in weather not suited to the boat or the guest.
11、 4. The Beach Attendant on duty must keep a watch on all boats that are out. In the event that he/she has to go out in the chase boat, the Beach Bure attendant should be informed. 5. A careful watch must be made when children are on the beach or using equipment. PROCEDURES:
12、 (continued) 6. All beach swimmers must be watched carefully – in the event of waves or an undercurrent, guests must be warned of the dangers. 7. All equipment in use must be safety checked regularly. 8. Before organizing any event or activity near or on the water, all safety considerations
13、 should be made. No risks are to be taken. If there is any doubt as to the safety of an event, it will not be carried out. BY THE POOL 9. The beach towel attendant is responsible for the safety of all guests in or near the pool. He/she should keep an eye on all swimmers and be prepared to assi
14、st in any first aid or rescue. 10. A rescue pole should be easily accessible. 11. Chairs should be set back from the pool to avoid any tripping. 12. A special watch should be carried out when children are in the pool. 13. During all activities, whether land or water based, safety procedu
15、res must be carried out. 14. When preparing an activity, be aware of any potentially dangerous situations which may occur and which could, with proper planning, be avoided. 15. With fitness, aerobics and jogging events be sure that all guests are fit enough to partake and that none have seriou
