9、neral, these features of culture in common is the pub culture. Reportedly, if you want to make friends with the locals and know more about local conditions, you should go to the British pub. It is said that every street in every town has a tavern in England, and some of them lied in the corner. As C

10、hinese small restaurants, the door of some pubs opened to one side or both sides of the street. And now in Britain, there are more than ten thousand different style bars, including centuries-old pubs. The British pub culture really has a long history.This paper gives a comparative study on the Briti

11、sh pub culture and the etiquettes. The author hopes to find a satisfied method through analyzing the history and the development of British pub culture. In the past, only men could go to pubs to drink and enjoy after finishing their hard work. And women just stayed at hom

15、e and did housework. Nowadays the picture has changed completely. Both men and women can go to pubs at any time as long as pubs open. Some pubs also welcome children who follow their parent (s).Even some pubs offer family menus for parents and children, and provide children with play area to encoura

16、ge and attract families to visit their pubs.2.1 The Types of WineThe Britain pubs are countless. In general, most of pubs supply beer, grape wine, liquor, and soft drinks without alcohol. The water with bubbles usually is free. Firstly, we talk about beer. The beer is the common choice when British

17、go to the pub. Drinking beer is a simple way to integrate into the society while the beer is just like a catalyst. It can help people quickly reduce the psychological distance. In 1784,when mail-coach introduced, some tamboes became a transfer station to exchange horses and riders. And the owner served as the local postman. They help to d
